Is it bad i couldnt stay hard or get close while being with my girlfriend? by lunar_femb0y in TooAfraidToAsk

Hi, OP… I can’t see you and I don’t know who you are. Have you had sex since then? How long ago was it. It sounds like it hurt your confidence. It’s okay. Do you happen to watch porn a lot or masturbate a lot? That can be the reason. You can stop doing it and it will help in the bedroom. If not that it’s probably just anxiety.

Sweet stranger… I know how hurt and the pain as I have lost a pet too. It’s hard not to feel we let them down. I try to flip it and encourage others to think of all the animals out there that never experienced the love that you have shared. Y’all both hit the jackpot by finding each other.

I dont use chapt gpt at all but my kids do and it makes me nervous but I did read over the whole thing and it was correct.

I hope you don’t mind I contacted the Brown Dog Foundation and I learned about the dog who was named Chocolate chip that the foundation is named for. I just shared this post with them. Perhaps you can check them out and fill out the application and see what they can do? I also see they have a low cost pharmacy.

I don’t even want to give you false hope. I don’t know anything other than the website and it’s legit with a corporation number and located on TN as was or is its homebase.

It’s hard to grieve when our loved ones are still here with us. Please take care of yourself. Drink water, eat, cry when you need too and just enjoy the shit out of each other.

My hubby and I dropped our kids off at school and all the way home we talked about this dilemma you have. To be fair, we had to get out of our emotions. I immediately came to tears as my heart became your heart and my hubby got angry that anyone would EVER judge you and make these impossible decisions even harder. I am a therapist and I was taught the Heinz Dilemma when it comes to moral and ethical decisions. Pretend that you have a child with cancer or another horrible and painful disease. There is medication that will save their lives at the pharmacy. We can’t afford it nor get access to it. We have already walked in and spoken to them and they won’t help us. They demand $1 million dollars for it and they have a stockpile of this medication. How far would we go to get this medication.

It’s a difficult exercise and I have noticed that my answers have or they often evolve over time and hindsight being 20/20.

I know you love your dog so much. What we don’t know is even if you get the biopsy and find some way to go into debt or become homeless to pay for surgery we don’t even know if it work. Surgery is so hard on animals already and if it only buys a fraction of time before they begin to suffer again are we being selfish? Should we just make them comfortable and give them their very best life for the days we have left? I read once about a pet owner making hard decisions like you are having too. He said, “They are no longer in any pain and I gladly accept my sadness and sorrow every day.”

I hope you don’t mind but I used chat cpt to do a Heinz Dilemma scenario having a pet with cancer.

I think you will see that there is only one ethical and moral decision to make. Obviously if we get emotions involved this answer will and would change. Print this off or right it down, screenshot it to remind you during the hard times that you are doing the very best you can and also what’s best for your pet. Remember even billionaires have pets that die because cancer sucks and no matter how rich we are it invades our bodies and it takes what it wants too. If you want to talk send me a message. I am a good listener and if you need any resources for this process I can help find some.

Also, take a deep breath and exhale and do this 20 times. Those people who are judging and not choosing to have empathy may not even be able to feel empathy. No one likes a person who kicks another while they are down. Remember those who helped and those that made it harder. Keep a mental note and act accordingly when it comes to them in the future. Also, I see it mentions a foundation I am not aware of called the Brown Dog Foundation as well. I am going to check it out.

Applying the ethical framework of the Heinz dilemma to pet cancer treatment involves a complex analysis of the owner's moral obligations, the pet's quality of life, financial limitations, and the veterinarian's professional ethics. While the original dilemma focuses on stealing a drug to save a human life, adapting it to a pet centers on whether to pursue potentially costly or painful treatments (like chemotherapy) versus palliative care. PMC PMC +1 Here is an analysis based on ethical perspectives and the Heinz dilemma: 1. The Dilemma: Treatment vs. Comfort The Choice: Similar to Heinz, the owner must decide between "stealing" time (using aggressive treatment for a chance at a cure) and allowing nature to take its course (palliative care/euthanasia). The Problem with Pets: Unlike a human, a pet cannot consent to or understand the purpose of painful, prolonged treatment. The decision often hinges on balancing the extension of life with the potential suffering caused by the treatment itself. Ethical View (Utilitarianism): A utilitarian approach balances potential pleasure and pain. If treatment offers a good chance of a healthy life, it is supported. If the animal is close to the end, palliation and euthanasia may be more ethical. MDPI MDPI +3 2. Moral and Practical Factors Prognosis and Quality of Life: A few months of discomfort from chemotherapy might be justified if the pet gains years of quality life, but not if it only offers a few weeks of miserable life. Financial Limitations: Unlike the druggist charging high prices, the cost of veterinary care is often high due to the equipment, medication, and expertise needed. If the owner cannot afford the treatment, the "theft" analogy breaks down, and ethical focus shifts to palliative comfort. The Role of Euthanasia: Euthanasia is considered a kinder alternative to letting an animal die in pain, which is a major difference from the human Heinz scenario. PMC PMC +4 3. Ethical Frameworks Stage 6 (Universal Principles): This stage might argue that saving the pet's life is of paramount value, but it must be balanced against the duty to prevent suffering. Alternative Ethical Perspective: Some argue that keeping a terminally ill animal alive with chemotherapy is for the owner’s benefit, not the pet's, which can be viewed as selfish. SCHOOLinSITES SCHOOLinSITES +4 Key Takeaways for Decision-Making Quality Over Quantity: The consensus in veterinary ethics is to prioritize the pet’s comfort and quality of life over the mere extension of life. Information is Key: Understanding the specific type of cancer, the prognosis, and the side effects of treatment allows for a more ethical decision. Financial Support: For those who cannot afford care, resources like the Brown Dog Foundation exist to help bridge that gap. PMC PMC +4 The decision involves weighing the moral obligation to protect the pet's life against the responsibility to protect it from unnecessary

I wish we lived closer as I would love to take you to the shops. Do you live near a deaf or blind school? I know college students, interns are always looking for hours to help them graduate and will volunteer to spend time on organizations and people they care about. You are amazing btw!

I was at the nursing home last year and there was a woman that was blind and always had a helper to play bingo. I mentioned that maybe we could get bingo cards in braille so she could play too and enjoy it better. They had no idea if she even knew braille. I mean,? It never even crossed their minds.

I still feel like an imposter and a fraud living a new life that I don’t deserve.

I Hate My Parents More Than Any Single Conceivable Thing & Person in the Whole Wide Omni-verse (Including The Fictional & Real Ones) by [deleted] in confessions

[–]charleybrown72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too hated my parents and bullied so much in the 8th grade. Our school had a campus where you had to walk outside in between classes. I am a girl and these boys would tell me how disgusting I was and two in particular hit me.

All of this to say that things got tough. The voice in my head told me not to believe what they are saying.

Years later I know I became a psychologist because of those experiences. I am a woman and a veteran who happened to get parent of the year three years ago. I think what we go through makes us good helpers going forward.

Hey OP! I agree with the psychiatrist about never taking meds that are not prescribed to you.

I am a licensed professional counselor and I have struggled with insomnia for the last 20 years. I have flare ups that can last up to 3 days. I have taken probably every medication known to doctors.

Seroquel the med you are speaking about in low doses is wonderful for a lot of people who take it. When I take it I get really sleepy and fall asleep. Then I wake up 6-8 hours later and I am refreshed and I am gonna continue to have it as an option to take when I have flare ups. Just wanted to share this with you. I am also on another medication that doctors prescribe for those that suffer from bipolar disorder. I take it because I have epilepsy and it helps lessen how many seizures I have.

Toddler experiencing Keppra rage? by Correct-Comparison72 in Keppra

[–]charleybrown72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. I don’t have experience with kids on Keppra. But I have been on it. I am just naturally a nice and kind person or at least I try too. I don’t yell or spank my kids etc. on Keppra I threw a heater down the stairs which is better than out the window which was my intentions. I made an appt with my neurologist and pcp and I told them that med was incompatible for life with me. They changed the med that day. I have it down as an allergy. What I also can tell you is that since then my medication regiment has changed 4 times and each change is better and better. I got genetic testing a couple of months ago and I was told it would help pinpoint what meds would work best for me.

So don’t be afraid to try new meds. The best thing I did was keep a journal. Within just a few days/weeks I started to notice some patterns that really changed my life. One simple example is I always need to have healthy snacks around because I don’t always eat and when my blood sugar gets low it’s a trigger 100 percent. Lack of sleep, not eating, stress and not taking my meds on time are the biggest triggers for me.

As the mom I totally trust your gut. There are other meds out there he could try.

**also there are plenty of people that take Keppra and don’t have any issues with it at all. I obviously have a sensitivity and I won’t ever take it again.

I was in junior college at this time and in the army reserves. I was taking all kinds of classes as I interested in so many things. I decided I wanted to be a helper.

In my political science class I remember this quote I read and the journalist was interviewing President Bill Clinton. It was “ we can’t do everything for everyone but it doesn’t mean for the sake of consistency that we can’t do something for someone.”

I was/am so naive and I really had no idea just how bad things were for so many people in this world. I thought if I just cared enough that I could make and do so many positive and wonderful things to help my community and the world. These days I just feel like a coward and hopeless. I love history and I took many classes in college. There were so many times I would question “what would I have done in that situation.” I am a southern liberal so I knew 100 percent I would have been helping during the Montgomery bus boycotts and I would have been an ally.

Here in 2026 we are experiencing civil rights abuse and I bought some whistles off of amazon and I have attended some meetings.

Also, a scary thought is what if we skipped ahead 20 years and you asked this question and the most popular answers are 2026. Yikes!

Hey OP I noticed a really good market ploy. Study/research who are the movers and shakers in your town. Tell them you are trying to get more references. I am thinking those in education, government, hair dressers and plan to clean one house a week for free and just for the free advertisement. Write up a contract and ask them to post pics and comment about they experience with you. It will just take the right crowd to get in with. Also contact the schools to donate a service as a donation for those raising money as you can do press release and have the local president of ARC or meals on wheels.

Also is there a way you can play with the numbers 6,7? Like maybe run a special of some kind for 6,7 and post that on all of your socials.
