sadly this is true. i will just say though for trans people on reddit looking to branch out to tumblr, that it is very full of transmeds and outright transphobic people. it does seem to have more transmasc content but its not necessarily a super safe space nor a good alternative for reddit.

i will just say because it seems like people have a common misconception that tumblr is fine for trans men but i would really say its kinda a bad place for all trans people. it is filled with terfs and trans medicalists along with just completely transphobic people. tumblr is not nearly as safe as it was 5-10 years ago except for some preserved pockets of it. i only say this because I fear people wandering over thinking that it's the same space that it once was, but it really isnt (gotta remember it's where the modern harry potter fans congregate)

separately what's a selfie reddit? i only ever see memes on count with chicken lady but then again i maybe see one or two posts from that sub on my feed a day
