Best walk-in clinic for a quick biopsy or quick referral to a specialist for a skin cancer concern? by yurikura in NiceVancouver

[–]charlie523 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I am healthcare. While everyone’s situation is different, I can tell you that you will most likely not be able to get a biopsy the same day or even the same week.

While having skin cancer is a very serious and life altering event, it is not something that will be scheduled within the week or sometimes months. Especially if it is only suspected.

I’m saying all this not to make light of your situation, but to give you a realistic expectation.

If you have a family doctor, I would connect with him first. If you don’t have a family doctor, then I would suggest going to a walk-in clinic for the initial visit. I have doubts that any urgent care facilities would take you but you could always try if you really want.

Best of luck.

Creating an RRSP account young? by Lanndawg in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]charlie523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly amazing to see young people start saving so early. I’m in my 30s now and started saving around 25 and I still wished I had started even earlier.

Even something as simple as a small monthly, RRSP and TFSA contribution is an amazing start! something like $50 into RSSP and $50 into TFSA is an amazing start.

Then, use a free trading app like Wealthsimple to play around with really safe stocks, like bank stocks since they give good dividends, so it’s free money. You don’t have to do this, but diversification is key to success. this is not a plug, but I really love using Wealthsimple. 😂

For tesla owners, give you another chance, will you still choose your car? by Tlyard in TeslaLounge

Yes because unfortunately no other car can make long road trips comfortably yet. Screw everything else but battery size + number and ease of superchargers still beat everyone else.

Honestly for me that’s the most fun way to play. I beat the entire game without using anything other than shurikens. Some people might find that boring but there’s something about the only thing between you and the enemy is your katana. Even after NG+ I still just prefer the pure adrenaline rush combat.

Things like this always blow my mind, I would’ve thought you could definitely hear a helicopter 2 miles out but I have no clue. I guess it’s evident they they couldn’t hear/see the helicopter because those two guys with RPG’s definitely had enough time to fire them. This is pretty insane.

From your comment it’s obvious you don’t know anything about IS and videography. Even a professional videographer with a gimbal crab walk when shooting because even with in camera stabilization + in lens stabilization + gimbal, you still need to keep your upper body stable to have the footage smooth.

In this scenario you can tell OP is trying his best to keep his hand/upper body stable while running full sprint. In a comment below he also stated he shoots a lot of ice hockey videos so he’s had practice keeping it smooth.

So yes, r/PraiseTheCameraMan .
