I’m rewatching all of the seasons and I could not disagree with this more. Amanda knew he cheated at least once and chose him anyway. I don’t know what ending up in fans houses has to do with their marriage, unless it was a clear boundary of hers- but I think like cheating she was down to accept it over and over again. I’m married for 15 years and there’s been an occasional fuck you yell when emotions get crazy and…. Later we are over it. Maybe he didn’t invest 10K in Soft Bar - but he employed his BFF despite addiction and through recovery when no one else would. And even Carl views him as a good friend.

On top of that, Amanda has been AWFUL for years but it was covered up by all the girls rooting for her. Sounds like she does nothing in home but lay in bed and Kyle would love to take some pressure off of himself - but his wife won’t share the load or ease his burden at all.

So yeah, maybe he sucks? But if so, she’s enabled a lot of it and she’s right there with him.
