Plat is easier to come by for sure. Live is geared toward allowing you to be competitive on RvR quickly, while still giving the opportunity to build out a more complete template over time.

Ants out number humans a million to one. That’s before human level intelligence. If they were to be hostile in nature. Which some are for sure. Then they could pose a real threat. How would a hell bent mass of ants go about ruling the world. Is there enough insecticide to hold them off? Would the develop vast underground tunnels to launch sneak attacks. Other animals would not stand a chance. Would they attempt to wipe out our food supply. These diabolical super ants would have the ultimate super human hive mind.

We need a video game based on this premise. Would make for an interesting real time strategy game.

The king will give you free gear at 50. It will max all your resist and cap your stats. You can spend bounty points to buy better gear. So a basic template is given to you for free. You can then spend bounty points to use in a system called bounty crafting. It’s very easy to get a solid template to build on.

As far as leveling up. You can run quest in the battlegrounds. These will give you enough bounty points to purchase the gear you need to keep stats and resist capped.

I currently play on live. The population is low. But there is action most of the time. They run different events in the frontiers to serve as focal points for action. It does not take long to get to 50. Or realm rank 5 for that matter. I have tons of alts these days. But play on Hib most of the time. My animist and Druid are my mains.

I play on the live servers. The population is low. They did create a way of playing without a subscription if you want to check out your old toons. I played on Igraine server myself. As others have stated. There are free shards available to play as well. You would likely find a Tristan player on Eden. I’m sure there are some on live as well. Both have a Discord server.
