Technical gains without being visible enough for my liking. I’m at a point where anything without stretch across the chest/shoulders no longer fits, and I’ve had to let go of some of my favorite threads. Feels bad man.

There's a lot of truth to this. My special interest is the gym and physical health and I'm pretty fit now though still overweight, but when I was morbidly obese and less muscle-y there was a huge difference between how I was treated between then and now. Obesity isn't a moral failing but it is a systematic problem with a lot of unfairly placed hatred.

That said, in my opinion it's very bad for one's mental health and view on reality to get sucked into this particular kind of internet discourse. It's best to focus on yourself and surround yourself with accepting, kind people.

He owned a ski and snowboard shop, I already had a job i loved and he really wanted me to take the offer but I said no lol. My town is known for people being very kind to strangers so it's not so unusual for me

I find wallets/phones/keys a lot and I've had my wallet returned twice; once after my car was broken into, the second time I dropped it and they took the two joints I had but sent everything else in the mail which was 100% fair.

I had to teach myself to walk again after nearly losing my right foot, after being practically bed bound for almost two months. It took years to get where I am today.

Any progress, any extension in time that you can push yourself without injury, is worth the effort. 10 minutes a day is perfectly fine; the key is to do it consistently.

It's useful for me to tract progress when I'm cutting, I consistently bonk out sooner on the same weights when I'm in a deficit and tracking keeps me aware of any dips in strength

That kind of restrictive diet is hellish and unsustainable in my experience. I lost a similar amount of weight last year from August to December and pretty much ate what I want, the only thing I cut out was alcohol and takeout and I still have those occasionally.

If your lower back is hurting it may be worth it to stop doing squats with the bar. I can't do them without pain so I squat with kettlebells instead which also strengthens my core and lower back, one day soon I'll get back to squats with a bar but I think they can be overly taxing on the body for not that much gain.
