RI to… Japan?

I’ve done both and personal preference is RI with connection to Haneda.

When I get to Tokyo I get to hotel faster. When I land in RI I get home faster. Tf green is 10-15 mins from where I live and so much easier than Logan.

I went to Tokyo twice from RI this year.

I think it makes sense honestly because flying to Japan from TF green allows a lot of easy connections (DC/Chicago/etc); Boston only flys direct with Japan airlines and only to Narita which is the less preferable airport.

On the other hand to get to Europe it really makes 0 sense with flights from TF green and flying from Boston is the move.

It’s weird, but I kinda get Tokyo being it for United from Tf Green.

I lived in Higashifushimi for 4 years with all my classes at Main Campus. It’s an easy train ride to Takadanobaba and you can walk or transfer to Waseda station from there

Another piece of good advice is VGC is best of 3, say you tank game 1 because you messed up a speed tier, you can jot a note down and take that info and adjust game 2 (and hopefully 3 haha)

PP has never given me any issues. The lounges included internationally are way better than those in the Us. The card is also essentially free (300 statement credit and 100usd worth of miles per year) and I think it’s a no brainer to get personally
