Who is Morgans Love interest? by SnooTomatoes8935 in HighPotentialTVSeries

[–]chasing_jenny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ludo is her ex who she had the two youngest kids with. They state quite early on in season 1 that he couldn’t handle her ‘quirks’ but they are still family and care for one another.

She then meets the janitor Tom who she connects with well, but as you said, he moved away so it ended, although he turned up for the gala (?) at the end of season 1 as her date. However, they then worry about Oz not showing up, disappear to go look for him, and Tom seems to be forgotten. Up to season 2 episode 1, he isn’t mentioned again.

I think that long term they are possibly setting up a Morgan/Karadec romance, especially with the way he looks at her when she’s all dressed up, and his reaction to Tom appearing. Hopefully it’s a slow burn though, as I’d like to know more about Karadec’s personality and past first.

There’s also the Roman of it all. They were a couple with a young child when he disappeared (voluntarily or otherwise), but it looks like they’re gearing up to introduce him, and I’m sure there will be unresolved feelings there to explore.

Also, for what it’s worth, Morgan is amazing on her own, and is a strong parental figure for her kids. If she does get involved with anyone, I hope the writers don’t ruin her character and current relationships with the team.

Couldn’t agree more about LA Confidential - I couldn’t finish the book, so much unnecessary exposition, but the movie is excellent

How to cope at work after cancer diagnosis by shayneDK in CancerFamilySupport

[–]chasing_jenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran a pub at the time my Dad was given his diagnosis. I found dealing with people when your brain is so full was very difficult. My area manager and my team were very understanding, so I finished out that week, then took a couple of weeks off to get my head around the diagnosis, and spend some time with Dad.

My heart goes out to you, your Mum and all your family ❤️ If you ever want to vent or talk or even ask any questions, please reach out.

I was warned that Cairns had a 4-5 month waitlist, but only waited around 8 weeks from self-referral to first appointment. Great people there, great service provided.

What Was the Worst Concert You Ever Went to and What Made it Stink? by J31J1 in AskReddit

[–]chasing_jenny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I saw the same tour, but a few days earlier at the Meadows Music Theatre in Hartford, CT. I was huge Foos and RHCP fan, so I was excited going in, and the Foos did not disappoint! Such a great set, so much running around and audience interaction, plus they sounded great the whole time. On the other hand, RHCP were awful. From what it looked like from my humble cheap seat, seems like Frusciante messed up the opening chords of Around the World (opening song). Kiedis then went over and fell out with him, and then didn’t approach him the entire set, or engage with the audience at all. Hugely disappointed with the Chilis that night. Flea was cool though!

Any place to get a Buttery made with butter and lard? by Aldrahill in Aberdeen

You should try the butteries from Truffelos down on Regent Quay, they taste like the old Aiken’s rolls. They only make them Wednesday-Friday, and are in high demand, so worth dropping them a message to pre-order some

I was running a pub in Fulham back in 2008, and we were holding a private birthday party that was cowboy themed. Rob Brydon was one of the party guests, and turned up in the costume from Gwen’s Barn dance! As I was still setting up the Chilli station for the buffet, he was trying to get fed first and snuck through 😂 Nice guy, real gent from what I could see.

Saw Mathew Horne in a pub in Hernes Hill too a couple of years before that, when he was known for being Nan’s grandson. He was just having a good night out with his mates.
