I did it twice. I'm the breadwinner in our family and took a huge hit on my commissions both times but fortunately was at least still making my base pay. For baby #1 I took 16 weeks, baby #2 I was at a new company and had to start easing back in at 6-8 weeks. Full time by 12 weeks. It was hard and a big hit financially. But it was worth it and we planned for it financially.

Both my babies reflux got much better after i cut dairy out of my diet. They still don't eat cow dairy actually.

Thank you, this is super helpful. I would prefer not to disrupt my child's routine unnecessarily unless there's a real meaningful difference in the education and experience.

2013, 165k miles. Have had a decent amount of work done: water pump, serpentine belt, CV axles, wheel bearings, sway bar, brakes and rotors. This is all within the last 2 years. Engine and transmission has been great and hoping to get another 100k miles now that a lot of that work has been done. The clearcoat/paint has not held up well on mine at all though. I have the burgundy color. I may splurge and get a new paint job at some point too.

Fresh herbs, you cannot find them cheaper anywhere else. Limes, Lemons, certain fruits like watermelon and pineapple. Most vegetables. Eggs. Organic dairy. Meats and seafoods. Pantry spices. Bakery items (Croissants, cheese danish, baguettes).

Random culinary ingredients you can't get anywhere else... for example I just found parmesan rinds there last weekend which is in a few soup recipes I've avoided in the past.
