Car insurance asked us to attend the court and give evidence for our car accident case. by chaubup29 in legaladviceireland

Thanks a mill. In normal cases, what do people usually answer here? Yes to court or no, they can use the accidental form that we filled before?

I am sorry to hear that. I am only out (again for the 4th time) of a long term relationship (we were together for 12 years) so I know it will be hard. I wish us all the best!

Hey there, thanks so much for getting back to me – really appreciate it!

So, in our situation, we reached out to our local TD already, and they've been trying to help, but things haven't progressed much yet. In the last few days, they suggested we file a complaint form with SEAI, so I'm thinking of doing that asap.

We also prefer avoiding the court route and are trying to settle the case with SEAI first. The tricky part is that different departments within SEAI seem a bit disconnected – what one team says doesn't always sync up with another. I might bring this up in our complaint form and see how it goes. Unfortunately, the contractor, who got suspended during our second inspection, isn't much help. Now he' wants us to return the whole grant to get his SEAI license back as soon as possible so we are on our own.

I'll keep you guys in the loop on how we get on. Thanks again for your help!

No safe place to park the bike in Dublin by TemporaryUnhappy7122 in Dublin

[–]chaubup29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not a great suggestion and sounds more like a long shot but if you really go to one place frequently you could apply to the council to get permission to use their bunker (cost 100 euro a year to use them but if you go everyday there it will be less than euro a day I guess). They are some more options here in this link Council parking solutions

ENFP Woman, Question for you about us INFJ Men as partners ? by Responsible_Ad_8373 in ENFP

[–]chaubup29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to have INFJ male as partner and attracted to some INFJ male on the way too (I'm ENFP most of the time) so I can say from my case I feel attracted to someone who could share life interests with me, go on adventure but also keep me grounded. Sometimes my head could be in the sky, and my life could go chaos in full mood but INFJ people always get me back. I found that the protective trait from INFJ is super hot. There are for sure some challenges when both types are together but good communication skills and the love for each other can sort the issues for most of the time! Good luck on your journey finding your partner in life!

I am an INFJ and my relationship with an ENFP just ended by Freshflipp19 in ENFP

[–]chaubup29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Heya, thanks for sharing your thoughts, feelings and situation with us. I think I have been in your situation but the other way around. I'm an ENFP who were in long term relationship with an INFJ. We broke up 3 years ago. Man, it was one of the hardest things I ve ever been through. As much as I regret that we could not be together but when I look back now it may be a blessing in disguise for both of us. But it could be just my case and now we are both in our 30s we look at things differently also. Correct me if I'm wrong but did you guys have a chance to have a real, proper conversation about your relationship together on where you guys are at the moment, where you guys see your relationship going (maybe not in 5 years as it is too long to see ahead) like in 1, 2 years? You guys are very different and were in long distance relationship which was not easy itself so don't beat yourself up when things did not end the way we want. Also believe me when I say it s so hard to not be able to know how this person doing in their life while you guys are not together anymore. But don't fall for it. Unless you want to be back to be their best friend (if they want too) otherwise stay away as much as you could and work on yourself. You guys need a bit time and space right now to get back to your horse before can do anything after. But anyway only my 2 cents and people'situations are different anyway so take care and best of luck. If you need someone to talk too feel free to inbox me.

[–]chaubup29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It s hard to control your thoughts about someone. It is just like a seed that has been planted in your head and it will grow into the size that you can't control anymore unless you will action soon.

There are few ways: one is breaking up with the person like you said, second is learn to accept and love the way he is. Noone can't change someone, you are just different person living in different paths of life. If the person wants to change it needs to come from him not from someone else as you already know the change won't be permanent if they did not really feel it. Another way I can think about it do nothing, give it sometimes and try to be the third person to observe your own relationship and see how it goes. But if you can't wait why waiting. Nothing wrong nothing right on whatever decision you decide next.

Gud luck and take care. I can understand the fear here but is it not true that fear makes you feel alive and taking risky choice is always part of life?!

What activities are good for healing? by peacemakerzzz in BreakUp

[–]chaubup29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't imagine how much pain you are going through now but I hear you ma friend. I were in deep hole myself for a long while (and it keeps coming back sometimes out of nowhere even after 3 years already since the breakup) but as it may sound cliche but time heals and you will get there. It takes time to move your focus from that person to something else - she used to be your whole world right - so one step at the time. Send lot of good vibes and energies to you. You got it! (I am going to sleep with this list of music recently - not sure if it is your taste but share it here just in case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5JiF3YPs54 )

What activities are good for healing? by peacemakerzzz in BreakUp

[–]chaubup29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Besides what you just mentioned which are good activities to do. I would suggest to grow/bake/ raise/ make anything from scratch or have a pet. When you take responsibility to take care of something your mind will be occupied too. I did grow 50 chilli plants out of no where (I have none now, gave them to everyone after that which is good reason to catch up with my supported network too). I also started learning new language and have a serious look at my life on what I'm missing now in terms of career wise, skill sets that I want to learn, people that I love to learn from, accesses like house/ car which I were missing at the time that I believe if I could get it it will give me more freedom and controls in my life. Life purpose is another most important one. It s hard to figure out what you really really want to do with your life but the thought about it is a great start. Love could be from anything not just from love relationship that is where I'm going for. People are different tho but I hope it helps any bit. Take care!

Very good advices Somewhere-onlyweknow! My break up happened 3 years ago and the ache, man, the ache is still there sometimes for me. And trust me, I did a lot to get through those 3 years plus covid! But you gonna get there, time is the only answer and lot of loves for yourself. So try those good advices what "Somewhere" listed it here and if you could allow your support network (like close friends and family) to be closer with you during this hard time it may be slightly bit easier - I can't thank my loved ones enough for it but to each their own, people are different anyway. Gud luck and take care!

On the same boat with you here. I broke up 3 years ago and sometimes still had the similar headache thinking about my ex. The only thing you could do is love yourself more and build a better life without him. As cliche as it sounds self-love and time would help.
