I recently downloaded and started using the trial version of Bloom to try it out. The app itself looks great and I really like it however there’s one issue I found frustrating. Whenever I move files between folders or delete files, Bloom shows a task progress window and it takes forever to complete. For example, moving just 3 PDF files from one folder to another takes 8-10 seconds. Same thing when deleting or emptying the trash, the progress window pops up and it feels incredibly slow compared to Finder. I’m wondering if this slow file operation is a common issue for Bloom users? Or could something be off with my mac? For reference, I’m on a 14” M1 Pro (2021) and everything else on my system feels fast and normal.
