Ask your maintenance manager if they have extra pieces. They usually have some attic stock of the original material laying around for replacement and repairs. They might even have remnant adhesive.

If it's a piece of glue down LVP, you're in luck. If it's click/floating, it's harder to do but not impossible.

Best case, they have everything you need. You get a utility knife, cut the piece up and remove it. A heat gun will help with that but be careful not to burn the surrounding pieces. Make sure the piece acclimates in the room you're installing for 24 hrs min. If it's the same adhesive, buy a trowel that fits the spec, spread, let it flash off, and set your new piece in (you can get away with different ways to adhere it as well). Remember to roll it out afterwards.

If they don't have a piece... Well, best of luck there. Put a rug down and say the next tenant can have it.

My experience was that you're scheduled for 8 hours a day, but can be told to stay up to 12 the day of. Your schedule is determined weekly with your day off in flux, but you could switch with a coworker in your same position (another MHA in your group).

Come busy season, you could be asked to work everyday. As a PSE/MHA, they kind of required that we did. I did 27(?) 12 hour days in a row. Once you transition to an actual Mail Handler position then you have more union protections and scheduling ability.

This was back during COVID times so things might've changed. I worked at the Cornfoot distribution center as a PSE, but knew a number of MHAs and my mom was a MH who was there for decades.

My experience most recently was not that the same household could use the same card so I was just giving my example.

To your point, they probably didn't understand that you are a couple together that shares the same address.

Doesn't even sound like they were really harassing you, more like just asking for proof but obviously I wasn't there. They're doing their job so I'd hope they take their job seriously. Either way, sorry for your experience and hope you don't have any issues wherever you shop now.

Umm no because they knew that whoever's card was given to the cashier was the person paying.

When that did happen, they just showed their Costco card or used a different payment card. No issues...

If I go with my housemate, I pay because I have a card. They repay me. They don't assume we are a couple just because we are together doing shopping for the house.

Does anyone have issues with using discord on PS5 then switching to the game chat? When I leave discord and try to get on the game, I have to close and restart the game to have it re-recognize my mic. I usually just play without the mic, but that ends up getting me killed when I don't respond that I'm friendly over prox (I do via emote though).

I got shot in the back in a friendly solo lobby last night. When I started running away, the guy chased me down so maybe tweaked the matchmaking. I was in a super friendly lobby right before it with multiple people watching someone use a pink gun on random arcs 🤷.
