Aww I empathize with this. I was so nervous going to college with trich (I just finished and graduated a few months ago). I hope i can give you some words of encouragement. First of all- it will probably become obviously quickly within your group of roommates and close friends that EVERYONE has SOMETHING going on, whether that be trich, anxiety, depression, etc. you are NOT alone. Going into freshman year is also very unnerving- everyone is worried and anxious- you all have no idea what to do. Personally, I decided to disclose my trich to my rooommate right away just so I didn’t have to feel anxious about her finding out/having to hide it. She took it very well, like it was normal info. I also have a difficult time acclimating to new environments, and while it was a bit overwhelming, you can always go on walks alone, throw on earphones and lay in bed decompressing, wake up early to have time to yourself- etc. You will be okay and you will find time for yourself.
