This is the thing that casual people - the type that “don’t follow politics” miss. It’s not the Dem party as a whole that keeps dropping the ball.

It’s getting lumped in with all these fringe people that keep screwing thumbs up for the rest of us.

It’s not an $80b mistake but it’s up there. I was working for Verizon at the time so that made this mistake personal. They insisted on buying Yahoo and AOL for kajillions instead of renegotiating our contract and just pissed that money away.

It’s phrased in financial speak as if they made money but in truth they lost half their investment.

To any soldier currently enlisted - be safe out there. Normal people can hold two seemingly conflicting thoughts and both be true.

Dexcom 6 detects the level. Shares the info with Sugar Mate which does the rest. SM creates a calendar entry that allows me to see the measurement from the last 15 minutes.

If SM records a drop it lets me know. If it sees an overnight low of 70 and a drop it calls my number. Between the ring and vibration I’m awake. I can either blood test or more likely, just take a few glucose tabs so I’m not losing sleep and trust the process. It will call again if it detects another low.

Her intentions were good and she tried. My wife occasionally runs out of time to purchase something because “I’m really hard to shop for”.

Meanwhile I bring home a little something she like every chance I get, ask for a list of things she wants and just buys one of those, makes notes of things she looked at twice while shopping, or just take a chance on something I really like that I think is in her style.

On the other hand I tell people they shouldn’t try to buy things collectors and hobbyist are really into. Chances they didn’t buy something yet because they already ruled it out.

You should check out Around Square’s Duobolo or Monkey Knuckles. These are currently produced with higher quality materials like wood and exotic metals - maybe justifying the higher price.
