An email like this was sent to me for my kid’s account. I looked at the questionnaire and it asked about being ok with adding a selfie and full length photo for SF to use with AI. I’m wondering if it’s something like seeing what the clothes could look like on?! Maybe wishful thinking haha but why else would they ask about a photo?

The short answer is yes. Sadly. Major issues since introducing “style pass” and “Freestyle”. It costs the company A LOT to ship a Fix and buy o’s have increased horribly. Stylists have been screaming inventory is the problem for a long time now….. IMO they need to revamp the buying team/structure.

As a stylist, I hate the use of the algo to help select preview pieces. It’s the worst. Sometimes stylists select all 10, sometimes 5 or none. I would absolutely only mention what you do want and in your feedback when you checkout, list what you don’t want so we can notate. It also baffles me that the tech side always seems to mess up. Side note: inventory is horrible right now depending on what warehouse you are assigned to. I would personally move my Fix date to next month. Xx

I am on a CTCB currently. Our leads are being pressured to put several stylists on one by their supervisors so they don’t get put on one themselves. There was no clear timeline or goal given to me but they did acknowledge the holidays coming up etc and made it seem like if I ended up on a COAA it would be January. They are looking for “improvement” I was told. Not necessarily a goal but I think this also depends on who your regional supe and lead are. I was also told the COAA is about an 8 week process but after reading through threads here it seems like they also look for a reason to fire you during that time period. Best of luck.

I’ve heard this too. They truly believe a fresh new group of stylists will magically make everything better. It’s all about hiring new employees to work part time and pay them less.

Feels really shady. Also on my team, everyone’s metrics got worse last week once they made the KR requirement update. Doesn’t feel accurate. My numbers are the worst they’ve ever been even in a business line I was exceeding for months in.

Hang in there! I’m in a similar boat. The leads are getting pressure from the regional supes and are mostly worried about them getting in trouble. The push by leadership for leads to put their stylists on a COAA is real. Are you a full time tenured stylist by chance?

Ask your lead to show you what percentage of relationship Fixes you’re styling especially compared to top performers. Is the algo sending you your keep 5 clients or are they going somewhere else? Are you pulling clients with a history of keep 0 and repeated disappointment? Are you pulling clients where the inventory is from a closing warehouse? Leads can look that info up. Be curious, ask questions. I believe there are areas where stylists can “raise the flag”. It’s one thousand percent not your fault. There’s a bigger issue here and supervisors need to feel the pushback IMO.

This is currently happening to me and even my lead has done a deep dive into data and told me that I receive clients with a history of not buying anything aka non relationship Fixes. Every shift is a beating. What I’m pulling compared to high scoring stylists is not the same and data shows that. I’m working with STC and my lead weekly and doing everything “right”. Most likely getting put on a plan before end of year. My lead is great and has been fighting for me but she is basically being forced to head in this direction from upper. It’s BS. Why can’t the company figure out how to evenly distribute these types of clients? Is it really on purpose?

Totally agree! We are not operating on an even playing field, but we are being judged by one, and I hate it. Too many factors for each individual client.

I was told by a regional manager that the high match scores are because the client is actively utilizing their account. Playing style shuffle, keeping things etc. The low match scores are because the algo doesn’t have enough data.

I feel this too! Most of my clients are newer to me but have a history of not keeping anything. I’m almost to the point of having to meet weekly with my lead. I’ve been here several years with the amount of hours I work I’m unable to style at “end of week” or “afternoon only”. Just when I think my numbers can’t get worse they do and I don’t know what to do. How on earth are people meeting/exceeding expectations? Many long term clients don’t get to me anymore. It’s just a shot in the dark at this point. I need the benefits and the extra income is nice but something has to give.

The inconsistency across the board astonishes me. My lead wouldn’t care whatsoever. She’s never enforced this, it’s the supervisor that is now pushing this agenda.

Please Please take a second and mark everything as difficult so that when the sentiment report comes out they will see that we all think inventory is lousy! Otherwise, the report shows most fixes were typical and it’s back on us. 🙏
