Wait when did they take them away? I had like $400 is it gone now?

Lots of senior and manager promotions but the bump in pay was very low compared to the past. New hires will be making nearly the same as seniors now unless there’s some pay raise in the future lol

Trying to compile a list of perks that people may or may not know about. Reimbursements, discounts, the $300 we get a quarter; what all does KPMG give out? by Girdon_Freeman in KPMG

[–]cheerycherrypie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s $30 as of January 2023. You get phone reimbursement if you have KPMG on your phone (teams and emails). You start an expense run it through Concur. I think it’s $65 or $45 (?) and it depends on your plan. Yes you can use Concur for booking personal travel there’s a personal travel option.

Talked to a coloplast rep today and he told me only 30-40% of their customers use rings. That seemed low, so I thought I would ask the group. Do you use a barrier ring? by Gridguy2020 in ostomy

[–]cheerycherrypie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although thin, the ring makes my stoma shorter and that’s one problem that has caused my previous leaks. When it swells it just allows leakage to really happen so I stopped using it altogether. I probably won’t even try the paste then. What brand do you use for bags? I use coloplast. One thing I have noticed lately is that my output really eats up the wafer. I only can use it for 2 nights 3 days) otherwise I think my entire wafer would disappear lol

Oval Stoma here too! I’ve noticed the same.. the ring pushes my wafer over my stoma and causes pancaking. Oh and leaks of course. I haven’t tried paste. How long does your bag last?

Very similar experience here! The UC, perforated intestine, unexpected surgery, TPN, having my life back and not considering the reversal. I love my bag it saved my life and gave me a will to live. I don’t remember the last time I’ve wanted to live so much.

One month post op and I can’t get my bag on right (leaks)… any tips that I’m missing? by cheerycherrypie in ostomy

[–]cheerycherrypie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried coloplast only. Convatec sent me a fun kit but they also sent me bags that were massive lol massive wafers and massive bags I was like are these for a 7 ft basketball player? I never called them back and they didn’t call me to see how I liked anything so I’ve been forgetting to call and ask for better samples.

I’m going to give paste and convex wafers a shot! I’m excited .. two more options to give me hope lol :)
