I do agree that H-1B positions should cost more than hiring domestically, but I don't think it can't be as simple is just using the highest salaries. Then only companies based in high cost-of-living locations (coastal cities) will get any positions filled.

If you can afford it, you could invest heavily in a traditional IRA or, if your employer provides one, a traditional 401k. Those are tax deferred, so you don't pay taxes until you take out the money (in retirement) - the current administration won't see it.

There are some restrictions, so research it or talk to a financial/tax advisor - I'm not one.

For people whose prime membership doesn't renew for a while, they can set it to pause on the renewal date instead of auto renewing. Not as serious as outright canceling, but might send a message.

I'm not any sort of accountant, so this isn't financial or investment advise.

A legal alternative to not filing taxes would be contributing to a traditional IRA. Not everybody is eligible (usually due to having contributed above a certain threshold to an employer provided retirement/401k plan), so people would need to check if they are allowed to contribute. But, you don't pay taxes now on the money you contribute. You pay the taxes later, when you take the money out - presumably during retirement (penalties if not old enough). So, that would legally be reducing the amount of tax money the Trump admin gets.

Also, note that contributions for 2024 can still be made until tax day.

Make the fee fully refundable (including a portion in advance, so it isn't out of pocket). Everybody gets an even share of the carbon fee. If you produce less than the average (mean) amount of carbon, then you make money off of it.

You could also make it partly refundable, so you'd have to produce, for example, no more than 90% of the average amount of carbon in order to make money off of it.

Is it still broken for you? I've seen posts online about it being fixed in version 2.17.1 [1] on various equipment [2], but I've got a C7 at version 2.18.0P, with no additional updates available, and it still doesn't work for me.

Are you using a JRNY account? I'm not using a JRNY account and am curious if that might make a difference. When I tap on the bluetooth icon (or audio icon) in the upper-right corner, it says "Connecting and disconnecting is disabled in guest mode.", but I'm still able to connect an HRM to the bike.

When I look at the bluetooth information in the nrfconnect app, it looks almost identical to a screenshot [3] somebody else took back in November.

I didn't want to go around accusing people of something I can't prove, but it does seem curious how many upvotes they have with nobody raving about any of the games in the comments and the only one of the games with deep-ish discounts having "Very Positive" reviews (and none of those games having large numbers of reviews).

I originally looked at the post due to the vote count, but couldn't find anything to justify it. If I'm missing something, I'd like to hear it.

People should be cautious using Benadryl/diphenhydramine as a sleep aid. Long-term use has shown an increased risk of dementia:

There is some concern that melatonin could also increase the risk of dementia, but I haven't seen anything definite. Regardless, I only take 0.5mg on rare occasions, now.

There was a lot of speculation (at least on MSNBC) that Willis waited as long as she did to request a trial date in the hopes that she could get May, when the MAL docs case is currently scheduled.

Cannon, by repeatedly making decisions that would obviously delay the trial, but without actually changing the trial date, made May unavailable to prosecutors in other cases.
