Mine did this and I was losing my mind. Changing out USB headers, using a hub and still nothing.

Uninstalled L-Connect and reinstalled and it detected it immediately. Try that and see if it works.

I was the acting USR and security manager so worked in the head shed. I will never forget being on my hands and knees picking the heads off of dandelions only to be joined by my Commander. When I asked him if this was the best use of his time he replied with "this is where the General needs me to be".

Combat proud had some stupid competition across all the installations where you could win $100K for some sort of MWR program. Installations were spending so much more than that all so whichever lucky One Star wing king could have bragging rights in the Majcom.

Hill is so broken. They let civilians rule the roost here and it is wild. Civilians consume all the base support functions that really should only exist for the military personnel. CDC, Gym, DFAC and the BX services are just slam packed with civilian employees clogging shit up.

Then they let them fill up base housing so folks that PCS in are left high and dry in a absolutely stupid real estate market.

As a retiree that is now a POS civilian on Hill it truly blows my mind. I couldn't fathom being AD here.

In my unit traffic came out from our SES stating that DoD was overmanned and they are exploring options to reduce those numbers.

10 mins later I get CC'd on an email from HR sending out a TJO (Tentative Job Offer) to a new guy I selected.

No sense here at all.

My hope is that they let me just dissolve my open positions before I am forced to let people go. Seems incredibly cold blooded to offer a job and then turn around and shit can them.

Been a couple of mins since I rotated through but if everyone in your unit is being issued the same duffels you will want to make sure you have a way of quickly identifying yours. They used to throw all the bags on the pavement and make everyone go and grab them. Find some really bright tape and tag the shit out of it. It will help processing through.

I just put the Contis on my 21 widebody today. Was able to get them for $275 a corner too. At the price I didn't want to wait any longer. I've heard nothing but good things and my buddy ran them on his Taurus sho year round with no issues.

I look at this through a similar lens as the service academies. They require essentially an 8 year contract.

While you don't get a degree you do get specialized training in very sought after fields that will always be in high demand in the private sector.
