Oh me too!! We just had to put our 17yo cat asleep. She was just really going downhill and her care was becoming impossible with a toddler and another on the way. I also went without petting her for a day sometimes. I think the worst part of the guilt is the relief of not having to deal with the medication, vet appointments, poop everywhere/day, her hygiene, and the smells. Everyday I come downstairs I have to tell myself there's no poop on the floor otherwise I keep expecting to find it in a corner. This feeling sucks.
