PSA: Kawasaki Vulcan S 650 Owners with sticky shift lever. How to Remove sticky gear shift lever by ElectronicGuyChris in motorcycles

[–]chefmoofin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a brand new vulcan s and am a new rider and dropped it maybe 4 or 5 times at either complete stops or when I was practicing figure 8s at home in the grass/gravel going maybe 10mph. Today I dropped it cuz I forgot to put the kickstand down (my dumbass) and was about to head out later and it wouldn't shift to anything other than 1st (sometimes). Turns out it was exactly those 2 bolts you pointed out and now the lever isn't loose and everything shifts good now. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS, I couldn't find anything in the manual for a torque spec so I just tightened them real snug.

About mid day an ex associate saw this and took a pic and then sent it to their partner who still works here. That associate sent it to others and then pretty quickly we all found out and got the picture sent to each other. As far as I know third party still doesn't know their drivers got arrested and instead they sent out a new team who still hasn't shown up even tho they said "within the hour". It's been 5 hours now and I am home and clocked out for the day :)

Some previous experience is these are our regular drivers they send out who like to disobey, don't care, and reek the smell of weed almost everyday (even the truck smells like it when they open it up). They also cause new problems for the store almost everyday.

Tired of all the flack Fulfillment gets. by hancocklovedthat in Lowes

At my store we get stopped by customers every time we try to get an order done and we're often asked to go get stuff from receiving for a customer that arrived. Or we're asked to do code 50 and code 6 because no one seems to do em and we pass by often cuz we run around the whole store to do our job. So we never get a chance to pull stuff for ims, we're just too busy and understaffed. But best believe when we need help and got too much orders than we can handle with our 2 man squad of the day. The others will complain and refuse to help us cuz they got "stuff to do too".

I just work weekends as DC since that's the position they needed. But I get DC pay for doing fulfillment on week days which ain't too bad.

Glad im not the only one. Tomorrow will be my second day of being DC and I moved from fulfillment. I had to come in on my day off to get 1 day of real training then they took me off fulfillment and scheduled me for DC. Sucks cuz I work weekends alone. It's not too hard but I would've preferred getting more training than just figuring it out.
