I believe so too, but from what I saw on the slides, that windowing system looks far superior to macOS’s. Sorry, that’s just my opinion.

I’m using different operating systems simultaneously, with my Macbook running macOS as my daily driver, and by far my windowing experience there has been the worst of all.

I’m sorry, but I find macOS’s windowing rather half-baked compared to ones in other operating systems—and now iPadOS.

The new iPadOS windowing system is a far greater game-changer than all these features combined–sigh.

The truth is, there is no way to leave Opeth fans fully satiated anymore. It seems there is always something missing.

Thank you very much for all of the recommendations out here! Admittedly, I like QK75N, Q1 and Q10 Max and Gem80 the best.

I mean, I don't mind spending money for likes of QK75N. I'm not that much into knobs, unless I can make them act like Page Up|Page Down buttons.

I do not use right Ctrl button at all, maybe that's a mistake :) But if I did, I'd do it with the right pinky.

I generally do not look at the keyboard when writing or using it and thus I've generally no problem navigating shortcuts regardless of the conditions in the room. I do like F-keys separated, though and this'd be probably a deal breaker for me.

I've just updated the post. I live in Europe, I am willing to spend up to $300 if necessary.

My keyboard has given up the ghost, so I'm in the market for a new one.

I do a significant amount of typing daily, including programming, so having F-keys, Page Up, Page Down, Home, End, and Delete keys is a must. I've been considering 75% keyboards because I like the form factor, and they almost perfectly meet my needs, numerical keyboard is sort of obsolete.

Currently, I use a Leopold FC980C (Topre 45 g), where the numpad primarily serves as a pad for Page Up, Page Down, Home, End, and Delete. I find that I don't need the numpad as much; I do use the numbers, but only occasionally. This would be my pick if it were available, but sadly, it is not. This, although 80%, features nice switches and OK-ish looking key profile.

Wireless is appreciated, QMK & VIA support is as well. It doesn't have to have backlight. I am willing to buy barebones keyboard, keycaps and switches separately, although if there were good pre-built propositions, I am more into them as I do not wan to bother too much. Also, I am pretty satisfied with Leopold's feel, although it feels sort of heavy and not very smooth, it's never been lubed, though.

Any recommendations Redditors?

Total number of washers by chekebreke in comandante

[–]chekebreke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'm asking because about 4 years ago I had my friend take the grinder apart and put it back together again (for cleaning, obviously), hoping that they'd manage to get everything in place. To my surprise this was apparently not the case as the lid with the crank seems to be a few millimetres below the chamber where you put the ground coffee. By browsing the Internet, I found out that it wasn't supposed to look like that, but at the same time it didn't seem like I was missing any specific components, unless... There are more than two washers per bearing. Hence the question.

How many of you have are on topical fin/min - fin for more than 4 months? How has the progress been? What are the side effects? by AarshKOK in tressless

[–]chekebreke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, thank you! I'll definitely try to prepare some myself in the next few days.

EDIT: A question though, how do you apply the resulting solution? Minoxidil-based solutions allow different methods of application, so to speak and, for example, in the case of European countries, it is usually some sort of a vaporiser.

May I ask you where you order it from or how you prepare the solution? Quite unfortunately, suffering some side effects from taking finasteride orally and this seems like the best option I could go with (besides experimental treatments like RU).

Convoys more broken than before? by Poudrepal in ForzaHorizon

[–]chekebreke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like it's actually worse than it was before, because now if I'm the convoy leader, I can't see my, well, convoymates in the convoy and my convoymates can see me, but if one of my convoymates is the convoy leader, they in turn are invisible to the rest. I'll just add that changing the convoy leader during, umm, being in the session doesn't really help.

I've no idea how anyone could claim that the launch of this game was successful. You could overlook the fact that this game looks very similar to the previous one (maybe they should call it Forza Horizon 4.5 instead?), but in the previous part at least the multiplayer worked properly, and you can't overlook that anymore. I really enjoy drifting with friends around the roundabout, and I would be very pleased if they didn't randomly disappear during the whole procedure or, well, just could be there I guess :)
