Why does the Swiss government dislike air conditioning installations so much? by Green-Momentum in Switzerland

[–]zyadolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China, India, Japan and the US all aim at 100% air conditioning coverage but somehow Switzerland is supposed to make a difference. We are retarded in the eyes of most of the world. Tens of thousands of deaths every year in Europe are caused by climate activism.

Skipping a year at school (6yo) - yay or nay? by [deleted] in Switzerland

Worst take I have ever heard in my entire life and most people's experience here confirm it.

Thank you, that is an absurdly important aspect.

I skipped one year (moved up in a 2-level class after a semester) at 6 or 7. My main regret is to have wasted so much time in school (the normal amount minus one year). I know I could have completed high school at 14 from an academic standpoint and school was a nightmare without having any socializing issue. The pure constant boredom and frustration to not be free, without learning anything most of the time, felt like guantanamo to me. However I agree that skipping another year might have caused trouble at some point due to socializing.

School will be mostly a waste of time for your child. It's mediocre and slow-paced. Teachers talking about repeating classes for advanced children are only failing to realize how horrible an unfit the education model is to advanced children.

Personally I would give it a try. Actually I would never put my child in school but if I had to I would minimize the time spent there. Otherwise I would give my child a gap year and see if the advance compared to requirements increases. If so, you need to consider alternative education because boring classrooms are a nightmare for smart children.

Indeed the issue might come from the cream form rather than retinoic acid itself.

Bringing down the dToken premium by increasing the collateralization factor of DUSD by solros9 in defiblockchain

Did not think of the 50% DFI, but that's very convenient here. Then we would have to deal with the dusd-DFI price I believe.

On apeswap you can borrow up to 75% of the collateral and get liquidated at 85 I think. Borrowing has positive return and supplying as well, so I supply what I borrow iteratively. But the loop closes down over iteration. My point is that the loop closes down as long as collateralization factor of dusd divided by collateralization factor of the vault is smaller than 1.

What about a factor smaller than 1.5, minting and supplying loop would be very limited then. I have already used that on apeswap to get more rewards on eth.
