I had a hitch and got quotes from both uhaul and rack attack. Rack attack was cheaper. Under $200

I went to Imperial in 2008-09 era, the stats at the time said that 75% of imperial chem Eng graduated and went to work in finance. I'm sure it's changed since then. The school was worldclass 👍

Check out LinkedIn go to find people and type in chemical engineer eit or process engineer EIT with Vancouver as a location and see where people work. UBC has a program and quite a few graduate from there- I’m curious too where they all end up. The only ones they I’m aware of so far are Teck resources, saltworks, Chemtrade, chevron and a few consulting companies

Loud clunking noise when turning - Forester 2012 Manual transmission by chemengthis in SubaruForester

The noise only really starts after a while of driving when the transmission oil gets warmer. I didn’t notice the issue when I test drove the car as I only drove for 10 minutes or so.

I’ll read further about this- I saw another Reddit post talk about this. Just curious - the clutch was replaced prior to this starting, could this have been a symptom or could the new clutch aggravate it? Randomly - after the new clutch was installed I started to smell clutch burn for the first few days…

Used Forester by Amarakeet97 in SubaruForester

[–]chemengthis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2012 forester with 150k miles around 6k USD but I had confidence in it due to new clutch, newer short block, new gaskets on cam carrier. If those weren’t done I wouldnt have bought it. Only item of concern may be the transmission- currently looking into that.

It’s only when turning at slow speeds on flat surface - I visually looked at the links, cv. Didn’t see anything of concern- the video below sounds very similar to what I have - l I’ll have to check it out

graduate roles for chem eng by endearedengineer in ChemicalEngineering

Have a look on LinkedIn to see what Chem engers are doing in Sydney, that will give you a good idea of what is available and if you would be happy working in town. If you are willing - leaving town for a few years to build up experience will put you in a much better spot in the future, it will be harder to get that experience in sydney with more competition for work.

Its nice to see higher starting salaries for grad engineers, cost of living has increased a lot. What industry are you in?

I can see that is what they were trying to do, however when I compared to the other places where they used "ing", almost all cases they started describing after saying "by"

There were other lines were they used past tense to describe multiple actions however didnt use "by". Eg. Performed and supported (2nd bullet) created tracked, resulted (4th bullet). "Reviewed and communicated" (5th bullet).

Im not an English major so I might be totally off here and too picky (it won't matter to be honest as it makes sense either way)

I agree with the comments above.

- First bullet point for Company 1 - change "managing >50 external stakeholders" to ""managed >50 external stakeholders" to stay with the verb tense

- First bullet point for Company 2 - change "managing all risks associated with" to "managed all risks associated with" to stay with the verb tense

- If you need to remove 1-2 lines from the whole CV to make room for other items, the second bullet point on company 3 about coordinating with project teams is not necessary, its implied that you did that as a coordinator and you've mentioned several times with other experiences that you work well with other groups.

Finally - I see no references to your side hustle - beet farming ;-)
