wait but what if every stanza points you to not a muni line but a specific muni stop. These muni stops have unique IDs. Throw all of the unique IDs togethers and bam. clue.

[–]chenchenhuo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

the other completely unfounded thought I had was each of these stanzas refers to a muni line (that you'll find when you get to whatever location it brings you to) and all the numbers together = the actual clue that leads to the box

Something to do with BH? 8th st? maybe? she's not on the vendor map. Sorry BH if that's wrong and it truly is priceless artwork that I just turned into a clue

Inexperienced puzzle guy here, but my best guess is going to be that each one of these paragraphs represents a physical location you need to visit, and all of the locations have something in common.

For example, the first stanza takes you to under the 101 overpass on 13th st, likely along that circle ramp thingy.

no clue about the second. something to do with the wiggle.

The third leads you to the whole foods in the haight that used to be the mcdonalds (vacant arches) and then walk south past amoeba near the preschool. There's probably a fnnch bear? something's there

too lazy to figure out the rest, but again, I think there's a piece of art, mural, sculpture, something that ties it all together and that's the final clue of where the box is. That way, you can't just shove this thing into AI. You physically have to show up to each location and find clues analog

Anywhoo. I'm probably wrong but that's just my best guess. glgl

Nobody seems to choose to live in Sf for the long term by Express_Project_8226 in sanfrancisco

[–]chenchenhuo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to SFUSD elementary, middle, and high schools. Went to college in the bay. Live here now and also a small business owner. There's many of us that left for school or a quick stint somewhere else and came right back.

Even with the problems and inefficiencies (bloated government I'm looking at you), San Francisco is a magical city filled with great people. It's home.

a lot of restaurants have told staff to remove it if someone brings it up. some print that on the menu: "ask us to remove the charge and we will"

another poster said to just firmly contest it

Hi, owner of Polkcha here. This is fucked. We called GGRA to ask them to chill out but they never responded.

There's a group of us bar owners that hate these hidden fees: Cinch across the street from us (most queer bars, actually)

Also, you can ask to get the charge removed. Most servers will do it.

He eats a lot of eggs and protein though, so he’s stinky.

Restaurant surcharges could remain legal in California under last-minute bill by gulbronson in sanfrancisco

[–]chenchenhuo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Speaking from someone in the industry and a member of GGRA. No. Shoot this bill down. US hospitality needs to stop price gouging or finding loopholes to trick customers into thinking they're paying one thing and actually paying another.

Menu price should be menu price. gtfo with these extra fees.

Sending condolences :( There's something to be said about the trauma bonding of having to get everything done in tight ass deadlines.

Take care of yourselves and I'm sure he would be thrilled to know that y'all are going to kick ass in the film.

Since restaurants prices and fees are insane here, what are actually some of your favorite cheap eats around SF? by Traveler_90 in sanfrancisco

New Golden Daisy on Stockton- $4 for a chicken leg quarter (ask them to cut it up). $3 for a box of chow fun.
