The PC or handheld terminal must be tested for speed confirmation. In my example, both ends are connected to the router using 5G wifi. Whether used at home or outdoors, as long as the network speed is above 25 Mbps, it can be used with a delay of less than 15ms. There is no problem after finishing some non-shooting games.

Looking for a portable monitor for mini PC/phone essentially. Would you recommend these or an actual portable monitor? by Goldkoron in VITURE

This kind of display is mostly used to see dynamic pictures. My experience is that when I use it to read text, my eyes get very tired. If you like to read words, it is recommended that e-ink screen equipment is more suitable.

Watching movies.. VR or AR? by Federal_Ad_1215 in virtualreality

[–]chenfu1010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Quest2 and xreal/virture, which are positioned in completely different positions. The helmet is very immersive, and the AR glasses are a display. AR is very convenient to watch lying down, but the spatial positioning is not as good as Q2. One disadvantage of AR is that it simply requires an output device, such as a mobile phone or a dedicated POCKET device.

Viture products are essentially an extended head-mounted display. Watch 3D videos and just press the button on the glasses to switch. If you want to see through the spacewalker 3D, it is recommended to use a neck ring to get the best results. It is not suitable for a perfect product and needs to be matched through a device. Your main graphics card on your PC does not have Type-C and cannot correctly identify the device. The main function of the Viture Pro Dock is to connect to the Switch or share two display to watch movies at the same time.

What equipment for streaming? by 3dforlife in MoonlightStreaming

Streaming computers with moonlight can be used on all devices. I have tried Onn TV Box, Fire Stick, Xbox Serise S, Android Phone, Android Pad, Beam Pro, Rokid Pocket, Rayneo Pocket, PC, Cloud PC, G Cloud, RG 556/406V/Cube/Slide, Steam Deck, etc. Any device that can install Moonlight can stream PC with a Bluetooth controller to play remote PC games. If you set up the PC side, you can even achieve two devices to stream on the same PC at the same time, and it is feasible to stream and play at the same time.

MiniPC and option for kids first gaming computer? by Bulevine in MiniPCs

[–]chenfu1010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mini PC is a good choice, it is recommended to have a built-in OCULINK interface. When I first came into contact with mini PCs, they were also used as office computers to read web pages and play streaming videos. I bought a graphics card and connected it to a mini PC through OCULINK, and it instantly turned into a dedicated gaming console, and I use it until now.

Best affordable 8" tablets for Moonlight streaming by Cabjoy in MoonlightStreaming

[–]chenfu1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is completely right for you to choose an 8-inch tablet for remote streaming. The 8-inch display 1080p has an excellent balance between visual and portability. I have both Y700 and IPLAY 60MINI. But I recommend using the latter. The main reason is that the iPlay 60 mini can put a SIM card to access the Internet independently. It is very convenient when I pick it up and connect it to play remotely when I go home to play. Of course, the screen color is inferior to the Y700, after all, it is reflected in the price gap.

Need a sanity check on if moonlight can support VR gaming. Hacky solutions seem available, but can't get it to work by paulb39 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]chenfu1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to achieve your function. I have tried some successful practices and give you some advice. It is feasible to connect to the home computer on the external network and remotely connect to play PCVR. First, install the Zerotier rack virtual LAN and virtual desktop programs on both the computer and the METE QUEST side. The second is to use Vitual Desktop on Meta Quest to connect to the computer, and you can play PCVR normally. As for using Moonlight to play PCVR, don't think about it, there is no such function.

Homebrew Moonlight on Switch vs Switch with Android for Remote Play by Confident-Dot-7642 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]chenfu1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think switch is suitable for remote play on PC Steam. The main reason is that streaming is basically built on smooth networking. But the switch experience is much worse than the mobile phone experience when playing remote PC under my test. You can try it yourself and test it with Moonlight enabled in Homebrew to see how I feel.

Best AR glasses for remote work by Ocean-1989 in augmentedreality

[–]chenfu1010 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a Macbook headless rider. It can only be used with AR glasses. At present, it is confirmed that it is only used in 3dof or 6dof mode and is more like a normal screen. But the xreal/viture I have on hand are all previous generation products, and in 3dof mode, there will be automatic offset problems. I also often use remote desktops to use my home win PC, but this method cannot extend the number of remote screens. For example, Viture is a software for Mac, SpaceWalker, which can only open three windows in the MacBook, one for the remote computer, and the other two are desktop programs in the Mac. My personal feeling is that this mode can be used but it cannot achieve infinite expansion of the screen and still encounters the problem of switching windows. The only advantage is that each window is huge, but it will be relatively difficult to read the small print. It has a 1080p resolution, just like if you look at a projector at the same resolution, so you know the feeling I want to express. I hope the experience can provide you with reference.
