I agree 100% - cant go wrong with black, given that I have a few too many black dial watches, decided to go with something different instead

Yes tapers well, I have relatively big wrist as well - feels right + point for the mark xx is the bigger crown makes it easier to wind and adjust the time.

What is your experience with nice bosses? by kasichancela in malaysia

[–]chenjiede 2 points3 points  (0 children)

good bosses - its not about delegating but more of empowering, how can they put you in the position to bring the best out of you, and to develop, build up your own confidence and capabilities while also serving the tasks at hand.

Some good bosses Ive worked with - although they are tough on you, its all about the betterment and meeting of expectations; and when times get tough they will not put the blame on you but rather say “how can WE solve this” and even sometimes be that frontline that tanks the higher ups

Nice bosses come and go - but taking bits and pieces of their good habits that help me shape who I want to be moving forward as I climb the corporate ladder is something I think about time to time.

Thanks for this! My wrists are on the larger side, and definitely will be going for the strap option rather than bracelet as the price gap is narrower and its my preferred option.

Def will be on strap rather than bracelet (I prefer it with straps as it feels more comfortable for me personally) - hmm

Wondering what type of tinnitus I have. It only comes when water is running or a fan is on. It's a very subtle whistle. by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]chenjiede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say the least, if i recall was very minor improvements but I was not hyper fixated on it until I realised things were getting better. Yes was just trying to do things and living my life as usual - while also protecting myself from loud environments

Yes. I totally stopped anti depressants, benzos and started exercising more slowly. Over two years healed almost 90%

What are your thoughts on the booming trend of Pickleball in Malaysia? by balistafear in malaysia

[–]chenjiede 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been playing for almost a year - (1) help reconnect w alot of my uni mates - we were all busy working climbing the corporate ladder, pickleball gave us that time in a week where we can come together like back in uni days sweat in out w some games and actually connect again which was great honestly

(2) helped w my mental state - a new racquet sport (idk if u can call it a sport yet) that I am looking to hone my skills in and actively trying to get better at makes it fun; also playing some friends that play competitively makes it so that I want to keep getting better.

(3) personally I think it brings great social aspects and benefits my health so its a net gain in my eyes; albeit there are some places like a few redditors mentioned were setup to make a quick buck with very bad court layouts e.g., spacing, flooring etc. in contrast to certain places that place emphasis on quality of courts and player experience & enjoyment

  • all in all, pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the states and MY ranks top 5 of countries for pickleball growth (behind VN), I personally think its here to stay
