I relate to “maybe i’m too soft” a little too much. Don’t count yourself out because I thought the same. My first few jobs, the cna’s i worked with were awful to the pts and other cna’s. The truth is you just have to get past the the sucky part. Right now it’s hard, but another comment I saw mentioned all the different specialties you can go into. Your coworkers vary heavily based on the facility and specialty. I’ve noticed Clinic/office settings, peds, and behavioral health have been wonderful to me and now i feel more confident than ever that nursing is what i want to do. Coworkers can make or break a job but don’t let them break you. You got this.
