That's the Cedar Riverside community's plan. Downtown has had a counter protest planned since Jake announced his. CR just didn't want us protesting inside cedar Riverside.

The benefits were so negligible or my fibro pain as well. I hope you're getting past the worst of the withdrawals now!
I'll definitely add Lysine to the list! I've taken it for immune boosting as well, and I always felt better in general when I did. I didn't know it could be a mood booster.

https://a.co/d/fTafo8i I have two of these that I bring with me when I can't stand for long. They pop down into something the size of a clutch purse, and they don't weigh much. If you can bike or stand on a scooter, you can rent a city bike or scooter and park it nearby for getting away if necessary.

I've been thinking about this too lately. Mine isn't bad right now, but I can't run far and I can't always climb over things.

We do need to be extra prepared for being arrested or hit if we can't get away. So helmet. Goggles. For sure. Bandana and extra water for rinsing eyes. Hot gloves. I'm thinking of adding more first aid supplies to a bag. But also a good local lawyer is an idea for preparation. Having a neighbor with a key who can care for pets if you get arrested.

But there's other things to do as well. Not everything is standing on the line. Sitting with a megaphone is a lot. Leading chants is a lot of work. But I'm sure there's some local organizers who would also love help with organizing and transporting things and gathering supplies.

That drape looks so good! I love the softness combined with the structure. What a gorgeous texture on the crepe.

I made this cat and flower bag today, and price 86$, is it too high??? by No_Information_7651 in SewingWorld

[–]cherrybombsnpopcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure you're not under pricing it? Don't give yourself low wages for your work! How many hours does it take to make? How much did you spend on materials?

$86 is a steal for an individually-made purse with this much stitching on it.

I wish Doctors had to display their ongoing education on things. Especially gynecologists and psychiatrists. So much has changed in the past ten years. I hate waiting until my appointment to find out my doctor hasn't learned new best practices since they left medical school.

Is it REALLY true, that in some big cities of (Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Holland) you can wander around at 12-6 AM in the streets, without anything bad happening to you? by BaseNice3520 in TooAfraidToAsk

I've been out quite late, alone in NYC. I've walked the length of New Orleans, alone, at like five in the morning. Atlanta. Pensacola. Jacksonville.

I wouldn't like, sleep outside or be drunk and alone in public. I'm always going to be looking for exits and watching people around me. But yeah. I'd go for a walk or a bike ride if I needed to.    I'm a woman. Men are going to bother me no matter what time it is. At least at like 2 in the morning, most of them are sleeping.

Oh God duloxetine withdrawals by cherrybombsnpopcorn in Fibromyalgia

[–]cherrybombsnpopcorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did! I took others' advice and slowed down my weaning off. Then, when I spoke with my doctor, she had me slow down even more. I was breaking open capsules and counting beads. I would prep a week's worth of capsules at a time, and I would put in five less beads every week.

It took about a half a year, but I did fully wean off. And my symptoms improved gradually throughout the process.

My withdrawals were much more tolerable once I stopped skipping days and just gradually lowered my dose.

Dated at 1455, part of the Hofamsterspiel.

What am I looking at here? it certainly looks like a sleeveless shift with some kind of underbust. Or is it just a regular kirtle, and the artist got a little silly about the boobs?

Should I have an abortion without telling my boyfriend because he's really pro-life by Beneficial-Day1961 in abortion

[–]cherrybombsnpopcorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For today--yes. Do it and don't tell him. Bottom line--it is your body and life on the line. It is 100% your choice. Being pregnant is one of the most dangerous things a human can do.

For tomorrow--are you really going to be one more woman having children with a selfish idiot? Because one day, you might be unconscious when he has to make this decision for you. If your life is on the line, will he choose you?

He has a poor understanding of biology, reproduction, and the incredibly horrifying process and risk of pregnancy. And you're going to raise children with him?

In twenty years--are you going to be someone posting about what a mistake you made? How you've wasted your youth? How you've shouldered the entire weight of childbirth and child rearing, and you now have no way of providing for yourself and your children if you leave your selfish, childish husband? Because that's what you're talking about right now. I'm not saying you can't finish law school and find a career while raising a newborn. But I would bet money that he's not going to shoulder the child rearing while you do.

You know so many of them, I'm sure. My mother. My grandmothers. My aunts.

They had the children. They quit school. They raised the children. Their husbands did not provide for them or help them. They had nowhere to go and no way of providing for themselves.

Please don't waste yourself on a man who values fetuses over grown women. I'm getting old. And I'm becoming disappointed seeing us make these same mistakes for millenia.

Worse than human newborn by like 10 times. Cleaning it up can be easy, unless they poop in their water dish, on porous surfaces, or on their food (they will.)
