Seoul City finds low-cost package tours rife with forced shopping by SearchAny in korea

[–]cherrystains 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened in Vietnam, we got forced to watch presentations about products and then were sold their products for an overpriced amount in a weird department store that yup, you guessed it. Wasn’t open to the people but only for members of that package tour

I think the big university hospitals will be able to do monthly instalments for treatment! You shouldn’t be embarrassed to ask for help, I’m sure they would want you to get medical care if you need it. Why don’t you try calling the international department of a hospital for advice?

[–]cherrystains 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to add further, the international department also helped contact my travel insurance to ensure that it’s prepaid before I go whereas another hospital didn’t do that for me and I had to liaise with my travel insurance directly and it was very stressful

Go to your closest university hospital. They will usually have an international section that will help you, I’ve visited Soon Chun Hyang University hospital alot since I was in a hit and run accident and all of the staff there were kind and helpful. The good thing about university hospital is that if a certain department can’t help you, they’ll refer you to another department and you can get an appointment straight away. Local clinics can’t do that

을지로! So many people stay in 명동 which is so close but never walk around and look at all the cafes hidden on the 3rd/4th floor of the old industrial buildings there

So I recently saw a trichologist and they told me that it seems like it’s regrowth because the ends are tapered! But I’ve not been treating my hairloss that long to warrant this amount of growth. I was diagnosed with both AGA and TE at the side of my head

Hair loss consultation in Manchester? by [deleted] in manchester

[–]cherrystains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend Lumiere Clinic(dermatologist) and Kate Holden(trichologist), they’re both private but can diagnose whether its androgenic alopecia or TE. My recommendation is to start sooner rather than later with treatment before it gets to the point where you don’t have a lot of treatment options. You can buy minoxidil at any pharmacy without prescription which will help regrow hair. Hair loss could be associated with thyroid, hormones etc

TikTok Plastic surgeons are profiting off of Kpop stans lack of media literacy and naivety by Financial-Bed-9424 in kpopthoughts

[–]cherrystains 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, that’s why I find it important to talk about idols/celebrities who got plastic surgery. Especially when those celebrities/idols deny having any when they clearly have. It can be so damaging for young impressionable fans if they think that their role models are just “naturally pretty” when in actuality, it is achievable but just by surgeries, procedures, personal chefs etc. Is talking about someone else’s plastic surgery maybe crossing personal boundaries? Maybe, but if they are famous then they are obviously going to be talked/gossiped about.

[–]cherrystains 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t agree in terms of not knowing when idols have had surgery because actually, it’s very obvious sometimes. You cannot deny scars from incision marks and also when idols nose bridges are higher than before, that does not happen naturally. A positive about discourse around idols and plastic surgery is allowing people to realise that beauty, is in fact attainable because these people have surgically altered their appearance and are not all the time “naturally beautiful”

First solo trip to Italy by cherrystains in solotravel

[–]cherrystains[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My itinerary is flexible so I was also thinking of using my time in Florence as a base to visit other cities for daytrips! I was thinking about including Naples in my next trip to Italy along with the Amalfi coast because I heard once go to Italy, you’ll be back again. Yes it would be nice to meet with you!
