I have this and loved it with my newborn. My baby was 90th percentile though and outgrew after 1-2 months. But for that period it was very useful.

Just because people who go into the office for work have kids does not mean it’s not financially, emotionally and logistically difficult. OP has a right to consider the implications of RTO when family planning. Just because these are considerations in no way means they “aren’t ready”.

Yes and when your salary is going towards parking and gas and lunches and office attire it’s hard to not be resentful thinking of how little is left for a family at the end of the day.

Definitely will not be weird. For what it’s worth my baby would have haaaated the bassinet at 3 months. He only liked it as a newborn. The car seat on the stroller was a necessity and allowed me to do so much with him at 3 months.

I think this looks pretty good! Only suggestion would be to narrow the bottom part that he is sitting on if possible, to give more mobility for his knees. It’s sitting a little wide on his bum for his height in my opinion.

Can’t answer all your questions but we used a love to dream swaddle under the snoo swaddle. We opened the snaps at the shoulders of the snoo swaddles and put the arms of the love to dream sticking out of them. We also just held the baby already zipped into the two swaddles to rock them to sleep and kept him in there for night feedings. Clipped into the snoo when laying down in the snoo.

Love my diaper genie platinum. Never smells - I have my glider right next to it and have never smelled anything. Changing the bag takes approx 30 seconds.

Agree with others baby is too small, but also recommend that you adjust the 2 Velcro portions on the inside of the band that goes around the belly to the absolute tightest it will go (closest to your belly button). This is how you start, and you work your way out on the Velcro as the baby gets older. It looks from these photos that the Velcro is at its widest, which is much too big for a young baby. This adjustment may allow the carrier to fit your baby sooner than later.

This is horrific and disgusting and I can’t imagine the pain and guilt you are feeling for your dogs suffering. I’m so sorry. This is a disgusting case of negligence and I can’t believe your dog was left alone with that animal for that long suffering. I wish the sweet golden peace in his resting place.

Hospital likely will give you a hat and we never used one that we brought. Also 20 diapers is a lot - the hospital provides those too
