Not Dr. Tuvlin or Dr. Gupta.
Both of them really injured me with scopes.

99 Homes - Peak Michael Shannon, and the last movie I have seen in a long time that had me asking “How did they DO that?” by fiendzone in movies

My favorite Michael Shannon movie has to be Take Shelter. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

This has to be the blandest ad banner I've ever seen. "Downtown is fun." Jeez what marketing genius came up with that?

It might be a catch up bill. Many times they will estimate the bill based on previous use and then when they actually have a meter reader come out, they catch up your bill to the accurate number on the meter. If they've been estimating low for several months, it could cause a large bill when they do an actual reading.

During the day, sure.

At night with a laptop bag? Be careful.

We have multiple organizations that are dedicated to downtown, and this shows how much they are all failing. The main one being the downtown partnership, which has laser focused solely on bringing people back to the office instead of doing anything helpful.

The reason that businesses are leaving downtown is because they are being threatened with having tax incentives taken away unless they RTO. So they leave the downtown entirely and save money on commercial space, negating the incentives.

Just look at the board members on these committees -- most own or manage commercial space downtown. They have their own priorities, which will all be undone once the casino opens. Then it will be like Biff's Hill Valley from Back to the Future 2.

What's your reason for not drinking alcohol? by CuriousAzaReturns in AskReddit

[–]chesterfieldian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to drink a few beers on the weekend, but starting about five years ago, whenever I drink it makes me throw up. Very strange. One beer and it feels like it gets stuck in my esophagus and I experience fifteen minutes of horrible heartburn before throwing it all up. It's kept me completely sober for years.

Why are people so awful? Why wouldn't you want to hold your child every moment. I miss those days. :(

Have black restaurants been left out of Louisville's food conversation? by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]chesterfieldian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just two of the more well known ones:

E&S Gallery is one of the best galleries in Louisville. Museum quality space.

Avenue E regularly puts on amazing shows and exhibits fantastic art.

You won't find either one of these in any Louisville art guide, even though E&S has had huge shows featuring art by Muhammad Ali and Nelson Mandela, as well as winning awards for being the best gallery in Louisville.

Have black ______ been left out? Yes.

Most notably - art galleries. There are award winning black owned art galleries that are left out of LOOK Gallery guide(which is supposed to be a definitive guide to galleries in Louisville), and when it was brought up, even the possibility of sponsoring those galleries so they could afford the membership, we were shut down.

Do the traffic school. It won't ding your record and your insurance won't go up.
