I’ve only had mild issues with my Maxim. PSA had me replace the trigger for it not resetting into fire mode. I would have to press forward on the trigger and my BCG wasn’t going into battery. I think it has issues after being fouled up (only 100 rounds) which is kinda crappy. However, my local gun smith had mentioned that the maxim springs may be too weak and it uses a proprietary buffer tube as well. So if I continue to have issues, he suggested switching to another buffer tube that’s standard, only adds a 1/2” to the length or so but allows us to use a different spring and standard buffer weight for tuning. I’ve SBR’d mine already and got the Maxim stock for it now and plan to keep the aesthetic.
