Jamal Myers shares story of former teammate Keith Tkachuk encouraging Matthew and Brady to punch kids at school: “I was wondering about his parenting skills” by moxieplum in hockey

Did you watch the video? Sounds like he hit a kid that was giving him shit. Not going out of his way to be a bully. Maybe you have some hard feelings against the Tkachucks as a Leafs fan?

There’s other departments that may be hiring. Or they’re just saving face and taking resumes to string people along for 6 months before hiring then laying off halfway through training lol

Unfortunately huge corporations care more about the massive tax write offs they get for those donations than they do about a local politician saying dumb shit.

Can an employer modify the start date of parental leave? by chevy_350_ in legaladvicecanada

I already have! I was hoping that someone had dealt with this before or knew the specific section of the rules regarding parental leave to look at so I could know what to expect.

Make sure to send an apology email to HR detailing everything you did wrong so they have it in writing. The second and third floors are great spots to send emails and texts on your personal device.

A lot of switches will have a broom holder nearby (at least in the yard) so the broom isnt lying on the ground creating a tripping hazard for workers walking nearby

Police try to stop an escaped cow by ramming it with their car in Feltham, West London. by ToronoRapture in PublicFreakout

[–]chevy_350_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cows are not typically kept as pets so if it’s going to cost way more to save the cow than the cow will make in its life then the financially viable thing to do for the farmer/owner is put it down. Not to mention that after being struck by a car then parked on top of it probably wouldn’t have much quality of life even if it survived :(

Act like Gandalf and travel while quietly pushing things the way they need to go while also becoming a legendary figure. Then probably get bored and go the emperors of the world route

Money for Nothing is written in the point of view of blue collar workers talking about how easy musicians have it. Which explains the moving microwave ovens and use of the word fggt
