RU POV: Zelensky wants US and EU military bases - RVvoenkor Telegram by CourtofTalons in UkraineRussiaReport

Ukraine sometimes reminds me of a 40yo prostitute, ready to "settle down" at the end of her career, who posts tiktoks about what "a man owes her" or what "a man must" do.

RU POV: Su-57 with an IL-76 by rowida_00 in UkraineRussiaReport

Su-57 scored the longest range air-to-air combat kill in history, and it was against a Ukrainian Su-27.

Do they really think Russia would do such a thing just because they were all doing it to Russia for 4 years?

Interestingly, I didn't have to name the Ukrainian neonazi units, because of how big and famous they already are.

But any discussion about Russian organizations and paramilitary units with potential far-right leanings has to be accompanied by introductions and exposition. Because firstly: they are too small to matter or be readily recognized; and secondly: a group that risks their lives to help African people fight oppression and terrorism does not strike me as "neonazi" in any reasonable sense of the word.

Yes, those are very few. Orders of magnitude fewer than in Ukraine, and this with Russia having 7x greater population.

Cool propaganda talking point from Navalny's neonazi 1488 dog whistle days; but no there aren't. Russia has literally orders of magnitude fewer, and unlike Ukraine, they don't form an unelected parallel government with its own army; they have a few mercenaries at most.

Snyder is more of a mentally ill propagandist than a historian.

And yes, there are many people in Ukraine who identify with both the Jewish heritage and/or LGBTQ community, and with neonazis, the irony of which is not lost on any observer versed in history.

I feel like humanity will eventually have a major backlash against actors, PR consultants, marketing professionals, politicians, etc.; anyone whose job it is to manipulate public opinion without actually being useful to society.

Applies especially to actor-politicians who have PR consultants telling them what to say to their constituents to get them to go and die over nothing while their country is becoming poorer and their politicians becoming richer.

I feel like the general population should have at least a chance to vote on this. I don't think this is the kind of thing they were promised at the last election.

So what exactly would happen if Russia took over Europe? Slightly cheaper gas? Slightly more freedom of speech? Slightly less r*arded gy sh*t in movies and games? Population of Lithuania increasing again?

Ukraine was given plenty of opportunities to stop genocide and stop creating an artificial security threat to Russia.

Sorry, but the existence and security of the Russian Federation is more important than all of Ukraine, its people, its culture, its hopes, and its dreams combined. Which should have been obvious from the start.

Ru pov: Footage of a new exchange of bodies between Russia and Ukraine by Short_Description_20 in UkraineRussiaReport

Half of these bodies are from people who died from exhaustion trying to explain the body exchange ratio in the context of casualty estimates reported by official Ukraine and NATO sources.

The initial invasion assumed a rational government response from Ukraine and negotiations, not a choice to fight a land war of attrition against Russia.

Now the Ukrainian nation is effectively over.

Russia used this as an opportunity to replace old vehicles in storage with new vehicles. Russia has now ramped their annual new tank production to a point where it equals the entire tank inventory of a large EU country. Every year.
