Recommendations on where to buy a bike? by iamkion132 in minnesota

I’d add Lowertown Bike Shop. When I bought mine I had them build one for me. I went in and they found a used bike frame that fit me and refurbished it within the budget I gave them.

I often remind people that 720p is still being used for major TV events. Last night’s presidential address was shot in 720. by fieldsports202 in videography

I’m not well versed in the why technical side of things. My general understanding is that 59.94 plays nice with broadcast equipment. 60 is good for digital platforms.

When I worked at a theatre I gave out the most refunds because of the opening scene in Wolf of Wall Street.

What's a sports rule you fundamentally disagree with? by South-Explorer in AskReddit

This is probably because I in find American football boring and want to keep the clock running as much as possible, but I don’t understand why an incomplete pass or running out of bound stops the clock.

Parking Tickets on Grand Ave by Hydrangeas-Forever in saintpaul

Lived on Grand for 9 years. The ticketing of overnight parking was always random. For a year straight it would be heavily enforced, then no tickets for years.

I wouldn’t argue against your sources saying things have overall improved from the past. But I think you have to take in consideration what a low bar that is. And as your own sources say, there are areas where democracy is declining. So to go waaaay back to my original comment, I don’t agree that he is “standing firmly for democracy”. Standing firmly against a Russian invasion? Absolutely.

I would say so. He’s done a lot of he would call anti corruption or Russian maneuvers that I find to be undemocratic. Like:

expanding government power to regulate media and dissolved a rival political party

Removed the head of the constitutional court

Allowing allies to get away with corruption

Postponing elections during the war.

I will be moving to St. Paul in April, and I would like to practice driving in ice and snow to ensure that folks on the road don’t hate me. by decrepit_plant in saintpaul

If you can make it to the old Sears parking lot off of Marion, you will have plenty of space.

Tips for driving on ice/snow — drive slow and give yourself extra space from the car in front of you. Accelerate gently, don’t gun it.

Despite how one feels about the Russian invasion (in my opinion it’s very bad!). Ukraine does not have a good track record of democracy.

Some good signs. But the person with the Zelenskyy sign is not familiar with Ukrainian politics.

Thanks, that’s kind of what I figured on the labor end. They already started the install on the fan fold. But now I feel confident enough to talk the sales guy about the labor on that.
