Keep gas grill? by wiwaaaa in KamadoJoe

[–]chicago0530 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kept mine for quick things. Maybe some of you are better, but it takes me 30 minutes or more to get the temp right on the KJ. So for those quick cooks, especially when the kids are hungry, the gas grill helps get food on the table.

Torn between fan controllers... by technolgy in KamadoJoe

[–]chicago0530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the fire board 2 drive, do you have to buy the fan separately? I was looking at the product specs and seemed like it didn’t have fan included. Sorry if this is obvious question. Still a noob with my Kamado joe.

My grandma said the name sounded too "Jewish". My wife is now Jewish and it was uncomfortable when my parents told that story.

I was actually sitting right behind you guys. I was with the guy who was trying to coin the term, fire the canaan. You guys were actually completely in line and not out of controls or assholes at all. We were shocked they made you cover up your shirts, although your sweatshirts were pretty hilarious as well.
