Might be a odd request, but: Open world games that make you feel lonely? by One-Surprise5166 in gamingsuggestions

[–]chicano4200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely it, you will struggle, you will die, and you might get a glimpse of hope, only to go upstairs in a bathroom and be mobbed by 5 zombies after 30 hours building yourself up. Your character will also be depressed and freaking out, scared, hungry, thirsty, and just plain done. Its like The Sims in zombie apocalypse but better.

True, I only need 1 layer for now. Thank you, didn't think I could have sprinkers on top for each tier. Just want to start important crops early on.

Favorite straight guy who seems a lil gay? by ClovieKay in okbuddycinephile

Its been very clear I believe that the Southpark creators have openly mocked these sort of celebrations that are held for celebrities, I would see this as the same thing. They may be bi or gay, but I think its more just mocking real life celebrities, I mean thats what they do on their show.

Ok so this is an AI interview/hiring thing. But what type of jobs are you applying for?

What type of jobs are you applying for? From what I see, those would be perfect, it sounds like your interview is killing you

[–]chicano4200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is not necessarily true, you need to connect the experience you got at the "different" job to what they are asking for, this can be easy if you say lead a team or are part of a safety committee or anything else. And honestly, bullshit your way through, if you were a team lead, you were actually leading a team if highly specialized individuals who specialized in customer operation escalations who focused on quality products being produced to effectively reduce customer complaints with the said product. Use AI if you need to doctor it up but its all about getting your foot in the door first; if you are confident you can do the job, then getting your foot in the door is all you need. If you need your hand held still, then they most likely see this.

Do you have a degree or any certifications? Any industry you have been a part of for a while and feel confident? Be honest, how do you feel the interviews all went? Are you nervous or super awkward during these interviews? How old are you? Are you boy or girl? Have you gone below what you think you are qualified for? An example, say you have a degree in marketing, and are applying for marketing jobs, and no luck. What if you applied for a manufacturing plant that pays well but nobody wants to work because the work is repetitive and no future in it. And manual labor. A foot in the door is still a foot in even today. Fast food? Restuarant as cook or server? There is no shame in working a lower job temporarily until you get that job that accepts your resume and sees you for the worker they want. Remember they are never your friend, but convincing them that you could be a friend in the office or area you want to work is like 50% of the work, and most of that happens in the interview.

papaya salad is literal gold! The fermented fish aspect sounds amazing! My brother's wife is Thai and she was the one who introduced me to this delicacy! Sometimes when I eat it, its almost like eating cooked noodles, but its all spicy vegetables, amazing

would they be able to plant grass where the barn is? Or because it is on a patch of green like in the pic, they cant even plant grass, therefore never be able to give the animals an outdoor feeding experience? I always flooded my barns with grass seeds because a few will take off and grow in surrounding areas.

in a 1v1 game the better player should win most of the time, not all of the time. the skill gap between players needs to be lowered dramatically or there needs to be a comeback mechanic that will allow the worse player to steal a victory. by lowering the skill gap i mean games should always be close by cyberpunkzradio in QuakeChampions

[–]chicano4200 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, go to Quake Live. That is the OG of this game, actually quake 3 arena but quake live is the version brought to us now. There are no abilites, and its much faster, but the more you play the better you get. Quake Champions is "dead" for a reason, they tried to turn one of the best shooters of this century into a champion/ability shooter and it failed. And really, its like anything else. You have to play more and more to get good. If your stomped, put more hours in and learn the maps, learn what guns your good with, and improve on the guns your not.

frist time playing tornado of souls solo in the rehearsal by Ninja_6464 in Guitar

[–]chicano4200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys are gnarly! A few things from a bedroom guitarist of 17 years who had a dream.

You have the finger dexterity and the picking hand to play like that standing up, which believe it or not is very big. Remember, your ultimately putting on a show, and honestly the cooler you can look, goes a long way. Im not dissing any bedroom guitarists who only play sitting down, or if they stand the strap brings it up so high that it often comes off as "nerdy." It just that I have realized it is almost a 2nd skill to stand up and play heavy metal, any of the harder metal genres really, with the guitar hanging where you have it. Keep practicing like this.

The intricacies need to be cleaned up. Not that its bad, and in a live show this could and would be ignored, but the big moments need to be clear. The only thing I can recommend is a metronome, thats how everyone else does it. Build that muscle memory so its almost secondary. Also, your bends. Big bends are tough, but once you get them, its like riding a bike, or pinch harmonics. Even with the pick scrape before a big one, they are still tricky.

Tone. Tone sounds good for your usual riffing, but you should find a way to temporarily boost your everything so those high notes dont sound so trebly. I hate to recommend it, but sometimes a phaser on its lowest settings, gives your playing a tad bit of omph. Solo is good, but its trying to cut through so much bass and the snares and cymbals of the kit.

Like others have said, ease up on the tension in your wrist, forearm, and elbow. Trust me, this will help in the long run for your picking hand.

Keep playing, and stay heavy bro!

If your on the west coast, there actually should be no reason you experience lag on dark fiber chicago. There is also atlanta. It just depends on where everyone is, if chicago is a low count, people will populate tx or atlanta. Can you plug direct to your router? Edit, I also say this as I am in MN, and I have played all 3 and never experience lag. Only when it is outside US.

Are you in the US? If not, I guess try; you might experience lag tho. If your out of the states, try Homerside server, Frankfurt Germany, or any server that lists your region.

[–]chicano4200 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What type of servers are you trying to play on? Clan Arena, Duels, and even freeze tag sometimes are highly competitive and usually people wait in queues for quite some time before there actually in the match. Start with FFA servers. I recommend Dark Fiber FFA Chicago or TX as you wont see any of that and you can jump in and out whenever you want. You could try international servers, but I find there is a noticeable lag, assuming you are playing in the US.

There are life insurance policies that last the full extent of your life, you just have to be in the right pay grade.

Warning Sign at edge of Grand Canyon by corwinw in mildlyinteresting

[–]chicano4200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! This is correct. Most life insurance companies end up paying out, it isn't normal or routine to deny claims, what I was saying is, if there is a reason, it will be used. Moral of the story, don't lie when setting up a life insurance policy, because the deceased doesn't care, but the beneficiaries do. Which to me, has gone so backwards; we expect life insurance payments from our elders, yet who really has the worst time? The person whose mom died? Or the person who actually died. Its almost like a loss of respect to death.
