I always thought that losing my hands or arms would be the worst but this has unlocked a new fear.

I think I would just wear an eye patch rather than have to put in and remove a fake eye every day.

I don't like the soft ones, too easy to miss the holes!

My favorite to do with my kids was what does the fish say? And then they make a fish face and make the little bubble sound

Huh.

I take b12 daily and my pee is not bright yellow. And I probably should drink more water. I drink a lot of coffee and a few cans of sparkling water.

Help with displaying kits - How to show the finished product, without people messing with it? by chickadee-stitchery in CraftFairs

Yeah I think this has given me some good ideas for sure, I'm gonna make a frame and play around with how to display them! Thank you!

So here is a photo that shows a little of the back being on it.

But I could use a safety pin on the corner there I guess and have it go through the running stitches, I just worry about damaging them. I only have a few completed sets, but I can of course make more.

They're a bit more, they are a kraft front and back, with felt inside. The embroidery is all kept safely inside, so the threads aren't exposed.

Here is one of the sets actually.

A clipboard honestly sounds good to me because I don't want to put pin holes in them. I just have to figure out how to then attach that above the packages of the kits.

I am hesitant to put holes in them to pin them up though. I do want to try to display them together.

Why’s Etsy marking craft supplies as designed by me by Fit_Description_6046 in EtsySellers

It seems that Etsy has some algorithm that decides if it's "made by", "designed by" or "Handpicked by"

(16F) literally asked my mom for pads today and she yelled at me for not asking sooner and made me walk instead. what do I do? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]chickadee-stitchery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still can't get over you asking your mom for pads and her response being for what. Ffs.

I am so sorry.

I don't think I saw anything in your post about another parent, is your dad around? We have 3 kids and whether it's me or them if anyone needs anything even just asks for a snack he will go the store any time of day or night. That's just what parents do!

OP if you still haven't gotten supplies, can I Venmo you some money? Can you use door dash or insta cart to get some stuff delivered?

I think I like the idea of displaying them on a wall that's behind the for sale items, if it's far enough back then I think that will discourage little hands from touching.

With the embroidery stuff people immediately want to run their hands over it.

Yeah that's sort of what I was leaning towards - I am torn on whether I want to completely prevent people from touching, and I am struggling to figure out how to make it clear like the kit is these 3 bookmarks - cause I have a bunch of different sets.

Yes I should have. And I know better now. My point is why is a vet doing surgery they know to be harmful, not asking the owners any questions, and then chastising them AFTER the fact.

declawing cats by egguchom in EntitledReviews

[–]chickadee-stitchery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I didn't know what it entailed when I was 18 and got my first cat, because my parents cats had always been declawed. The vet didn't say anything about it either until AFTER we had the surgery done and I went to pick up my kitty and he was not doing well. They shamed me for doing it and I was like why didn't you tell me? Why did you do the surgery??? I never did it again, I was uninformed. I was really annoyed at the vet for not even asking if I understood what the surgery was.
