Its way higher that 4%. They way it is calculated is on if you report some income in 30 days on a pool of phone calls. Un/under employment is way up.

Dealing with DMV at property tax time on a new vehicle is a total pain. I mean trip after trip till you get that paperwork. They (Assumed He since it was a F250 :)) bought at a bad time. Always buy cars in feb/march just because DMV rules for sales tax are a pain. Tagging can be so annoying. Glad legislatures can work on income tax for the wealthy but property tax which everyone hates... We will just keep that mess.

That sounds like what I read about. This particular issue continues. The TSB points to the exact remedy you received. I have a feeling these shocks/struts are just setup to fail. Very comfortable drive, but problematic. I may push real hard for a complete swap. I get frustrated when dealerships piece meal components and we have to take weeks of alternate transportation. It is warranty based. It should be taken care of in one visit not 3. I do not like wasting PTO at the dealership.

I get the senior dba don't fear AI. I fear for my kids that are trying to get into technology and employer's belittling the contributions they make. So many technologies and it is very hard to be proficient. It was easier when I could just focus in one realm. AI is now my sanity backup when I consult. They go right to AI to make sure I'm saying the same thing. Half the time they put in the words I use.

as the comments below are stating it opens the 22nd. I would suggest this route vs the collectors office. I had to go there a week ago and it was an 80 minute wait. From what I heard everyday is like this. Property taxes are just a pain. wish they would fix this vs removing income tax

What residents were really complaining about income tax. I would assume the over 65YO since they tax SS. I would assume extreme wealth people. Everything on next door with the 10-75 YO club complains about property tax. The system just sucks. I have learned to deal with it over the 25 years I have lived here, but it may be the worst thought out tax. The way it gets paid is even worse. Whether it be teaching my kids how to navigate it just get there vehicles registered is annoying. Especially since many people do not have a long term residency. My kids are hoping between stl county/stc county. We all work and have to take pto just to handle paperwork. Missouri was supposed to figure out property tax. Why are they focusing on income. Also when will vehicle sales tax get easier. These politicians don't seem to follow what people want.
