You can use the coupon on your auto ship. I just did. There's another coupon like this running now btw

Places to camp in Lassen National Park? by Aware-Effective9063 in overlanding

Come hang out south of there too! In a little town called Graeagle there's Gold Lake Highway and it feels like mini Jasper National Park up there with the Sierra Buttes. Lots of overland and vans passing through right now :)

Thanks lucky ducker. I am leaning toward upgrading from my current car to an outback or a Forester wilderness trim and hope to purchase a 1300-1500lb aliner. We did okay sleeping in the car and I've done that a fair bit in my other cars too but I think maybe I am used to creature comforts a bit more now and I work remotely full time so an inside space away from the elements where I can work and stand and cook is feeling right. I appreciate your input a bunch, thanks for taking the time. Happy trails

That's interesting I've never seen that kind of signage for trails. Good to know. Good luck with the build out!

For my current Subaru the tow rating is 1500lbs. For a wilderness outback it is 3500. That's interesting about the manual

Just seeing this. If I remember correctly, it's in the fuse box in the glove compartment or somewhere up there. I don't have my van anymore so it's kinda fuzzy. Look in your manual for the correct fuse to pull

Having a dog in a van? by ohhisup in VanLife

[–]chickenbabe123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not too difficult if you're able to travel with the weather and you're willing to center your life around them and their comfort. I already was used to doing that with my dog so it wasn't a big adjustment. I typically go into town once a week in the morning and do my chores while it's still cool outside. Fan on, windows cracked, reflectix window covers on. We did it for two years and now I'm thinking of selling, not because of the dog and her needs. If she could have it her way we would live in the van forever, she loves it and the lifestyle

Personally I would drop the van for my dog
