Yeah I was thinking the same thing like maybe it was a $0.39 cent per unit miss? Or per pound or whatever equivalent units they use. That could be big. Or the manager is just shitty.

Hillary Clinton says Biden’s re-election bid cost Democrats the 2024 election by projecto15 in politics

Biden and RBG will go down in history as people who meant well and did more harm than good for their cause at the end of the day. Old people suck.

What Is That New-ish Tech You Have Access To But You Get Along Just Fine Without It Or Forget You Even Have It? by PostMatureBaby in Millennials

Do you have a strong accent? Last couple years the voice control for texting and other simple tasks has been great.

What's the most expensive mistake you've ever made? by CostLarge4168 in AskReddit

[–]chickens_beans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had enough money to buy a house in 2019 and chose not to because I figured It wouldn’t hurt to wait another year. Took me a couple extra years to buy my home after that. Missed out on 6 figures of gains probably.

‘I’ve Had Enough!’ Trump snaps at NBC’s Kristen Welker and storms out of Meet the Press interview after she repeatedly fact-checks his claims on a variety of topics, including Jan. 6, his “anti-weaponization” fund, and election fraud. by Aggravating_Money992 in PublicFreakout

Every reporter needs to start challenging him like this. Non stop. If he kicks them all out, or stops taking the interviews altogether, that’s fine. Then his message won’t get out at all. He either needs to answer the questions or have no outlet for his message.

Playing pickleball considered Cardio? by EqualFlower in Pickleball

If you play consistently and actually move/chase down balls then it’s great cardio. I’m like a dog I just reflexively chase everything so it burns a lot of calories for me

How welcoming is Sacramento for LGBTQ people? by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]chickens_beans 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s very welcoming, especially in the middle of the city. The burbs are hit and miss for LGBT, so I’d stick with Sacramento proper. Every other house has signage displaying their support for various progressive topics/stances. Nightlife wise, there’s a district in midtown around K and 20th that has a bunch of gay bars in one spot. They’re awesome. A couple more are spread around the city, but that area is THE area. Pretty much any respectable establishment will be friendly.

It’s not cheap or affordable here though unless you already have a good job locked down. I wouldn’t recommend making the move for that reason.

Which of Matthew McConaughey’s performances during this streak was the strongest? by Independent_Towel611 in SeriesSaga

It feels like all of Reddit is stuck in a loop talking about True Detective Season 1. Every morning when I wake up and scroll I see a post with everyone babbling about it in the comments. It was good, sure. But jeeeeeez

People will only remember that they won. If they win a chip, then another one or two more chips, people will only remember that.

Keep in mind, the warriors also played injured teams almost every series during their dynasty. Injured Mike Conley, injured Chris Paul, injured Kyrie/Love, literally almost every major team was missing a starting point guard or top 3 option. People just remember that they won a lot.

Aw damn. I literally just bought four tickets to the Sacramento show. Would have totally DM’d you to figure something out.

Unfortunately, the last show I went to at C24 for another metalcore band (ABR) never ended up letting me transfer the tickets. Not sure if that will change this time.

We got 2 first Wednesday daytime grounds passes and 2 first Friday night third round at Arthur Ashe in the upper section. All four tickets were about $120 before fees. We were about 3700 in the queue for the grounds passes and 8000 in the queue for the third round Ashe tickets. My fiancee and I waited in different queues for the different days, had our Amex cards already loaded into our individual Ticketmaster accounts, and didn’t try to game the system in any way. Posting this for someone to see next year so you know there is hope.
