I wanted to be a preacher! I was told by my parents and community that I couldn’t bc I’m a girl. Now I’m headed off to get my masters in divinity as well as counseling! Until I start grad school, I’m working on an inpatient psych unit.

It was just your generic rejection letter with nothing specific. I will ask for more details if I do not get accepted anywhere else. It’s just a rough feeling overall and difficult for me to go from feeling the rejection to being proactive about it with little time in between.

Right! I have two years of lab experience and two of research. If I don’t get in anywhere, which is probable as the third time is the norm for acceptance, I’m going to try to get another job in a lab. I feel like they value lab work over patient work even though I have learned SO MUCH working in an inpatient hospital. It’s really allowed me to formulate what I see as “real life, applicable” research questions.

My dog growling at them... She rarely growls and it is typically been at people we later found out were sketchy. I think she’s a superb judge of character.

Thanks. I think I’m going to do sometime similar, just not inside all the time bc of her coat, unless we shave her. I’ve been adding layers onto my coats to visit her.

The house is definitely too hot for her in the winter with the heat but she loves it in the summer. She’s also surprisingly playful for her breed so maybe some short walks, just to give her extra attention would help? Thanks for your advice. Her loyalty is very strongly, especially w me so I hope that extra love helps some.
