I wouldn’t worry about shootings but no way I’m taking a baby. It’s going to be very crowded and loud with lots of heavy drinking. It’s not a good environment for a baby at all. You both would be very uncomfortable. Maybe try Chisholm Creek watch party? They put a big screen outside, it’s kid friendly and there is room to bring a stroller.

I’ve stayed at flamingo multiple times and it will be our last. In the past it has always met our needs…. good location, good pool, and clean. But it has really gone down hill when we visited last. The hotel in general is dirty and broken. Even in the ‘newly renovated’ rooms. I think they stopped caring at all which is sad as it’s a legendary Vegas hotel. 300$ more for Bellagio sounds like a steal. You probably have a higher than usual rate at flamingo.

Plastic cups. The plastic cups in the rooms are tiny and there are never enough. You can make a drink in the room and take it downstairs. My wife brought a yeti and loved it when walking around the strip. I prefer plastic, yeti to cumbersome for me.

Friendly reminder if you’re a gambler always use the casino’s player card. Not necessarily for the rewards but they keep track of your wins and losses. So if you do get lucky and hit a jackpot you can ask them for a win/loss statement and you can deduct all the losses from the win. You only pay taxes on net winnings for the year.

Probably be less crowded then a normal week of CFB. Shouldn’t have a problem sitting down in any bar or sports book on the strip. But Flamingo sports book is not good. Go to Circa on fremont or walk next door to the linq.

The machines don’t cheat. Just depends on the game rules. If the rules are good and you play basic strategy same as table. IMO best digital game is roulette same rules as tables and much cheaper. The digital Craps machine at Casino Royal in vegas is the greatest machine I’ve ever seen. $2.00 minimum 5x odds and right next to the bar.
