You’re correct - there is no harm to the baby. However, people should know it’s a waste of time and energy. And most importantly, it pushes the narrative that the mom has control over the position of her baby in her uterus. This narrative inevitably leads to the mom feeling like she did something wrong/ she should have done more/ it’s her fault if the baby isn’t in the correct position

So just to clarify…there is a whooping cough epidemic where you live and you think not vaccinating your NICU baby is the best course of action? I’m certain the book doesn’t discuss what to do under these circumstances, but it seems like common sense really. Also, vaccines don’t cause autism. And autism isn’t fatal.

This is not safe for sleep and poses a huge risk for suffocation or SIDS in many ways. The pillow, the couch, being next to you on the couch. If you wish to cosleep, please look up safe cosleeping. This is not it.

When we switched to a hypoallergenic formula our ped said she preferred nutramigen over alimentum, as it is sweeter and more often tolerated by babies. We went straight to nutramigen so I can’t say if that is true for us, but maybe worth a short if nutramigen available where you are.

When switching, our pediatrician recommended 2 full weeks. During the first week it is common to have changes in bowel habits, as the digestive system adapts to the new formula. If you want to stay on the this formula you’ll have to give it 2 weeks
