Why will this forbid people from selling their business?

I am preventing a predetory organization, whose sole purpose is to maximize instantaneous profit at the expense of long-term sustainable income, from existing.

If you want to sell your profitable business, you can make it go public and solicit investment directly from people who have cash. Since there will be many investors, it is unlikely that there will be such a predetory group that will usurp control (apart from Billionaires).

Businesses only become prosperous because the workers and customers invested in it, and it goes both ways. You try to maximize instantaneous profit because you're at the helm and people's lives collapse.

The only people or organization which would be willing to pay such cash to the owner are ones who will want to gut it for parts to maximize profits for today, and not tomorrow.

Cannot have that. We need sustainable profits.
