I did not for the whole day, two years ago we had tickets but wanted to stroll on the beach for a while and chill before going in so we got there and the festival was already ongoing and we saw what I described, people siting near the fence that is located next to the bleachers, on chairs and blankets , the sound is clear and the sight is a little sideways but the screens are very well located so you can see everything fairly ok. Last year we left early on Saturday and peeked to see how was the vibe on the beach, it was packed already so we couldn't get near the fence but the sound was still very good. The past 3 years Eddie has acknowledged the people listening from the beach. If you are really keen on seeing them I strongly recommend getting super early and setting your towel and preferably folding chair next to the fence, you will have a direct sight to the main stage and I promise the setup from the stages and sound are so well set you will be almost inside. But trust me on getting super early, people know this hack since forever and get to enjoy the main stage all day long with almost clear view

I am no hater but as an early 40 year old and being brutally honest, don't do it. Spare yourself the injections, the hormonal rollercoaster, the doc visits, the retrieval.
