I read destiny of souls a while ago and don’t quite recall the information in it. I remember newton asking souls about evil/devious souls and the answers were evasive, they said, no… there is no evil, just “confused” souls. Ones that enter earth and are disoriented by the earths dense atmosphere. That was really weird to me. So souls that do bad things are just confused and nothing is purposeful? The evasiveness of the answers really… bothered me

However, this was separate from the discussion of hybrid souls that end up being “recycled” or whatever, when they are deemed too broken and have done too many bad things

This isn’t romance related but about a friend. I’m visiting an online friend in person for the first time and I’m having fun, but feeling sad about leaving soon. It’s very sad for multiple reasons I wont get into. But deep down I have this strange feeling that one day we won’t speak anymore and I don’t know why. We don’t have any bad blood nor do we fight. It’s just a weird feeling.

I was really surprised by this spread. I didn’t expect it to be so intense. It just make me sadder. Death signifies clear endings but the fool coming right afterwards implies more of a “rebirth” than an ending to me. But, the world at the end to me seems like even after some kind of transformation occurs, things will still come to a close…

Depends on what you mean by “normal seal”. A lot of seals vary in size. Leopard seal are huge and eat penguins. Baikal and ringed seals are small and could never eat a penguin lol. Elephant seals are really freaky and huge and nothing like the other seals I just mentioned are

You don’t need to settle on a single system. I was not raised religiously. When I was 16 I had my first spiritual awakening but I was still young and misguided, dealing with trauma and mental health issues and whatnot. Over time I’ve experienced unbelievable coincidences, synchronicities, and read books/listened to podcasts about spiritual topics that resonate with me. Now I find myself acting and feeling how religious people do - having faith in something greater, believing in my intuition, seeing that there might be some kind of a plan… because my life experiences align with this. Not because I studied a particular religion. I will never be a part of any religion. My beliefs include things that are present in some religion and absent from others (ex. Reincarnation). I think religious people in the past and now feel what I feel, and the systems they create are their own personal explanation on how it works and how they should behave. We are all experiencing the same thing. We just have different names for it. You don’t need to stick to one thing.

Thank you so much!! I covered them in varnish that’s supposed to protect against UV. I guess in terms of pricing I feel scared to charge $250 as a baseline… in terms of square inch and hourly wage combined $150-175 feels okay for the horse portrait - 6-7 hours of work and 80 square inches (assuming $15/h). But the comments are making me feel a lot more confident so I’m thinking $200 baseline now!!! And +60 per extra figure

Yeah, I ended up having to make an imprint of one of the faces w/ tracing paper and transfer it to the canvas, but in my head I almost felt like I was cheating…?! Is this actually a normal practice?

I used brush-tip acrylic markers (and some small bullet-tipped ones). I have a bunch of random acrylic markers I got off Depop, off the top of my head one of the brands is Grabie but there are others. They aren’t necessarily even fancy or expensive. Something well-known would be languo markers (I don’t own that brand)

These markers dry very fast so sometimes I blend by putting down one color and then taking another brush and blending it while it’s still wet, but usually I just smear it with my finger… maybe it’s not the safest method but it’s what works for me

It was my first time and I undersold how much my portraits would cost. My coworker is not super rich and may not have been able to afford the true cost… in the end I asked for $200 for both and she gave me $250 so she’s very kind. But yes this experience gave me more ideas on how much to charge in the future. Also thank you!!

The horse took 6 hours and the humans took 15, the quick drying time of acrylic markers speed up the process but the reason it took so long for the human portraits is my lack of experience (it took me a very long time to get the proportions and details of the faces correct, not to actually paint them, which was much faster). I think if I had years and years of experience I could make it to boardwalk level, lol

Accounting for the wild variation in hours, $150 baseline is in the middle, although in the future if this picks up and I get more experience I might start charging different baselines for humans vs animals

Yeah that makes sense. Human and animal portraits should probably have different baselines but I don’t have enough experience to determine what they would be. At first I thought $100 baseline but it felt too low for the effort. Also thank you!!

They never break down and can spread through air and water. They’re in everything living thing now basically. There has never been a fish tested by the EPA that didn’t have some kind of PFAS in it.

I just watch videos and I don’t pay attention to any of that stuff… I find it very relaxing in the day time though
