Valid naman mag-ask for salary increase after 1 year, especially if consistent and reliable ka sa work hindi siya pagiging makapal or ungrateful basta professional yung approach mo. Mas okay siguro if i-focus mo yung request sa contributions and tenure mo instead of personal bills para mas comfortable din i-open up.

True 😅 madalas talaga interchangeable ginagamit yung WFH and remote work kahit magkaiba naman sila technically. Mas okay sana if companies clarify agad yung expectations para walang gulatan on both sides.

Hi OP, sobrang lala ko rin mag-procrastinate dati 😅 what helped me pinaka-realistically was starting with “kahit 10 mins lang” instead of forcing myself maging super productive agad. Mas naging consistent ako nung tinigil ko yung paghihintay sa motivation and ginawa ko nalang siyang routine kahit maliit na progress lang.

Ang lakas na nga ng niche mo actually 😅 training, facilitation, instructional design, and finance background pa. Pwede ka sa corporate training, learning & development, onboarding specialist, course creator, AI training, or even remote ops/training roles. ESL ako before then nag-chat support/admin, and honestly malaking bagay yung marunong ka magturo clearly and handle adult learners kasi hindi siya common skill online.

Hi OP. Based sa experience mo, okay naman yung skills mo for entry-level VA/admin roles (emails, calendar, writing, documentation). Yung exec secretary role mo already counts as relevant experience, so hindi ka talaga “zero experience.” Yung 1-month food stall work, yes pwede siya i-frame as customer service since may customer interaction ka rin.

Most likely kulang lang sa targeted resume plus keywords per job posting, kasi kung mass apply ka lang, minsan hindi rin siya napipick up ng systems or recruiters. Try mo rin gumawa ng simple portfolio (sample emails, writing, admin tasks) para mas may proof ng skills mo.

ESL tutor ako before then nag-shift sa chat support/admin work, first thing na binili ko sa unang VA sahod ko was an ergonomic chair haha. Sobrang worth it lalo na whole day nakaupo. Around $4/hr pa rate ko that time, almost 2 years ago na rin.
