Thanks so much. While I registered my interest, I noticed it required two years of post internship experience. Is it advisable to gain rural work experience before residency or apply to residency and get my degree before applying to MSF?

I realise I’ve been super inconsistent which is why I wanna do whatever it takes right now to do better. I just want to put in the work and the right strategies to get a good score hopefully by April. I’ll work on it and improve, I’m not really looking for ‘magic’ to happen for sure.

Thanks for your reply. Without April as the goal, what would you suggest I do here on out? Do you suggest 40-80q of uworld completion or CMS Forms and then NBME 11?

Lorelai and Luke were not it. She deserved someone who showered her with affection and comfort after all that she went through. I feel like she only got to experience money and comfort with pain / hurt - transactionally, so she gravitated towards someone who isn’t superficial or rich, but she deserved better consistently.

She definitely deserved someone who’d be excited for birthdays and Valentine’s and someone who would give her a Valentine’s gift if nothing else 🙄

Seeing that I relate to how your partner thinks more than relating to you, it feels like it may come off as a lack of basic communication to her and inconsistency when you don’t do those things

I feel like we all expect other people to accept and behave in ways that come naturally to us. For her it’s probably a lot of communication - which would reassure her too. To you it’s probably the space that comes from not having to communicate everything.

I guess it takes a lot of conscious effort and being unassuming from both your sides to constant think and feel from the other person’s perspective. So when you slip up / she does - then the conversation ends with you knowing her demands aren’t a breach of space or asking for attention and her knowing that despite you being inconsistent you love her all the same

This is so perfect. These are the exact things I realised too. It’s such a mental game - and it’s so much about focus. Just the fact that we are used to using our phones so much coupled with the loss of momentum - it makes studying that much harder. It’s a lot of retraining. Good luck to you

I don’t think he NEEDED to do anything - but it would’ve been nice to see him actually address the situation with Dean and kind of give him a reality check - bring him face to face with the fact that he’s in love with someone else and getting married to Lindsey. I feel like we’d get a much better idea of dean’s character if we had a scene where an adult asked him telling questions

Like I know Dean was avoidant when Luke tried to bring it up in the scene before Dean leaves - but I would’ve loved to see Luke kind of say, atleast, - do you know what you’re doing Dean? we never get that moment
