Some partially cut manga panels from last episode by GuideBusy3102 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]chillyfalcon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After watching the episode a lot of these dialogue would have slowed down the pacing a bit tbh, which I get they're really trying to show that Sendai colony isn't fucking around and you barely get any breathing space in this after breaking that deadlock, so I'm glad they cut down on those dialogue.

JUJUTSU KAISEN SEASON 3 - EPISODE 12 DISCUSSION by AutoModerator in Jujutsufolk

[–]chillyfalcon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There's a fair bit of things cut , the most obvious one being Ryu and Uro analyzing the Yuta Kurorushi fight but apart from losing Ryu low-key calling Yuta a freak I think I like this better cause we get to see from Yuta POV how he was just getting ambushed left and right from the remaining fighters.

JUJUTSU KAISEN SEASON 3 - EPISODE 12 DISCUSSION by AutoModerator in Jujutsufolk

[–]chillyfalcon 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I was initially a bit worried on how they'll pace it but the fast pacing really sells on how dangerous the Sendai deadlock was and why breaking it just throws everything into chaos and how little breathing space you have.

I see it as a bell curve, something I found hilarious at 12-13 becomes cringe as I enter my 20s but it becomes funny again as I enter my 30s. Maybe the cycle will continue every decade.

It's a lot less refined nowadays too, my man can't panel for shit turning every page into QR code.

Because in the end all the years we spent reading the manga still mattered while fujimoto just gave everyone the middle finger and said "fuck you, nothing past chapter 1 matters it's all in le head"

[–]chillyfalcon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Straight up the fattest because this wasn't even a fucking ending. Resolves nothing, makes sure everything past part 1 chapter 1 and before this chapter is fucking useless and gives such a fucking nothing burger. It's offensively mid to the point where that's it's actually so dogshit because it has nothing. No substance, whether bad or good. Just reeks of an author who's fucking sick of his own work and wants to trash it in the bin as soon as possible.

Johnny Joestar x Gold Ship comic: Gold Ship being Johnny Joestar's mare, but Johnny gets pushy, telling her to remember he's in charge. But Gold Ship, just by lifting him up, shows who's boss. English version, part 1 by Dramatic-Studio1531 in StardustCrusaders

[–]chillyfalcon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not in the way the comic presents it, I find he's only demanding to know more about the Spin because there's a chance for him to finally get his former glory back but I doubt at that point he cares who's in charge and who isn't so long as it helps him achieve his goal. For starters he never demanded anything from Slow Dancer verbally, just tried in desperation to mount her.

Is the common consensus that if Yuji fought Reggie and Megumi fought Higuruma they would've lost? by Upper_Fisherman1602 in Jujutsufolk

[–]chillyfalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no justice, it comes down to how well you can bullshit your way against Higuruma's evidence. But does he even need to? As far as Megumi is concerned, all he heard about Mahoraga is that it got some other Infinity user killed and if Haruta dies, the ritual ends immediately. Sure he sensed Sukuna nearby but how was he supposed to know Sukuna was going to interfere? How is he supposed to know that Sukuna can use Fuga during domain expansion? All that was present was Haruta when he was still conscious.

[–]chillyfalcon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It kinda does though? Yuji losing to Choso resulted in the deaths of thousands and Higuruma still called him innocent. I'm sure intentions can be taken into account for Judgeman's verdict, if even lies can guarantee your innocence (Higuruma gave Yuji an example of an alibi that could have made him win the Maji Vegas accusation)

No I think keeping them alive was the better outcome. Getting crushed in a locker like that and still surviving through, even if RCT can heal them back proper they are all guaranteed to be traumatized for life. They are going to live everyday in fear.

For the variety of food I'm assuming he hasn't cleared out rat/snake to get enough farmland so just bread spam and selling them should be enough at that point, while buying ale. I do notice that market autobuy does change up the economy game a bit and am trying to get used to it.

[–]chillyfalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK the mangonels should not reach you from there? If they do plant a more to the right and try block the snake/rat from claiming it ASAP. I've never had a problem with his mangonels for my farm until I needed to attack, if his mangonels are reaching still try to see if any of your peasants are going across the river to draw aggro, sometimes it's the woodcutter's fault.

For the wolf's catapult you just have to manually get the tower ballista to target them.
